Otis chewed on his lip a little bit, a habit that he hadn't yet tried to get rid of. "Well…" he said, with a long pause. "Ca-can I join you guys?" he asked quietly.

Finn was apprehensive about letting Otis join their group, but his kind nature won out over his suspicion. “Yes,” he complied. “Just don’t tell anyone, okay? What’s your name, by the way?”

Otis looked down at the floor. “Otis…” he said.

(JSYK, I'm gonna be pretty inactive for a while, just a heads up)

“Well, welcome to the team, Otis,” Finn said in a friendly way, holding out his hand for Otis to shake. His eyes slid to Lilith again, hoping she was okay with this.

Otis smiled the slightest bit, and lightly shook Finn's hand.

“Okay, so I already have part of a plan,” Finn said. “I’ve been thinking of breaking out of here for years. I have most of the necessary stuff in my room.”

Otis listened closer.

“I have a map and stuff, as if I didn’t already know this place like the back of my hand,” he added. “So both of you need to be ready to go tonight. At midnight, we leave.”

"Um…what stuff will I need?" Otis said, quietly and a little quickly in his soft voice.

“Whatever you want,” Finn said. “Money would be extremely helpful.”

"Hm." Otis said, and he went back to pack. He got out his old Paw Patrol backpack, with hesitation, then he shrugged, figuring that it'd be dark. He shoved his wallet, along with a fair amount of money, a few flashlights, some snacks, a book, his iPod and charger, and a few other things, including all of his clothes and shoes, his toothbrush and toothpaste, other necessities (like hairbrush and stuff), and a tablet. He brought some scissors, too, just in case.

Finn turned to Lilith. “Both of us should go pack too,” he said with a smile, before going to get his stuff (mostly ready) to go.
