“Exactly, listen to your sis. There’s no free passes given out here.” Liam chuckled.
“Exactly, listen to your sis. There’s no free passes given out here.” Liam chuckled.
"And now you're ganging up on me. Great," Harper groaned jokingly.
"As your sister, it's my job to make fun of you," Kasey teased as they neared their apartment suites.
“And as her boyfriend I have to support her decisions.” Liam said, grinning at him.
"I feel attacked. I can't believe this is happening," Harper sighed, hanging his head. He shot Kasey a glare when she chuckled. "You're not funny."
Liam gasped over dramatically, “Don’t be rude, Harper.” He joked.
Harper huffed and dug his keys out, quickly unlocked the door, and swept inside. He let the door slam behind him, causing Kasey to laugh.
"I bet you he's laughing in there," she chuckled.
Liam laughed a little, “I’m sure he does, I’ll need to put you down so I can open the door…”
"All right. I can probably walk the rest of the way, anyway," Kasey said, smiling up at him.
Liam smiled back and put Kasey down, “Let’s go then.”
Kasey held her bad leg up and leaned against the wall. She reached over and tried to open the door, but it was locked.
"Harper! Let us in!"
“Come on Harper! Don’t be mean!” Liam called, banging on the door.
"You can go be rude to each other in Liam's apartment. Stop being mean to me!" Harper called.
“Don’t be such a baby Harper! You’re supposed to be the adult!” Liam called, rolled his eyes.
"You're both adults, too!" Harper reminded them, though the lock clicked.
"Thanks, Harper. You're such a great brother," Kasey called sarcastically, rolling her eyes.
“You’re still the older adult.” Liam said, walking into the apartment, an arm around Kasey.
"Technicalities," Harper muttered, waving a hand at them dismissively.
"Harper. Seriously. Be mature," Kasey sighed.
"For your information, I am mature. And I choose when I want or don't want to be," he huffed, making his way to the couch.
“God you sound like my brother…” Liam muttered, rolling his eyes a little.
Kasey blinked. "You have a brother? Did I know that?" she asked, lifting a hand to rub at her head. "Wait. I did know that. Never mind…"
“Yeah, you saw the mermory…” Liam said, running a hand through his hair.
"Sorry," Kasey murmured, biting her lip. "I think the sleeping gas messed with my head a little."
“Don’t worry about it, love.” Liam said, pressing a kiss to Kasey’s brow.
Kasey smiled at him a bit before sighing. "Okay. I'm hungry, but I don't really want to make anything…"
“Want me to make something? How hungry are you feeling?” Liam asked, already making his way to the kitchen.
"Would you? That'd be great. I'm pretty hungry," Kasey said with a soft smile.
“Okay, an preferences?” Liam asked, “I can do a paella, burgers, um… whatever really..”
"Ooh… Burgers. Cheeseburgers sound great right now," Kasey said with a grin.
“Burgers it is then.” Liam smiled and pulled out the necessary ingredients for home made burgers.
Kasey leaned against the counter and watched Liam. "Anything I can help with?"
“Not right now, just sit and rest your leg.” Liam muttered, focusing on the cooking.
Kasey sighed and sat down, sticking her leg up on a chair. "All right… Let me know if there's anything I can do."
