"Well, if that's everything then let's go back to the guild… I'm ready to pass out." Andion stood with a sigh and held out his hand for Blaine to take.
"Well, if that's everything then let's go back to the guild… I'm ready to pass out." Andion stood with a sigh and held out his hand for Blaine to take.
Blaine took his hand and stood as well, nodding in agreement. She yawned, covering her mouth with her free hand.
"Yeah… Who knew books could be so exhausting," she muttered, taking one last glance at the wolf on her old bed.
"Do you want to take the wolf with you?" Andion asked gently, noticing her gaze.
Blaine looked back at Andion with a grimace, biting her lip.
"Would it be bad if I did?" she asked softly.
Andion shook his head with a soft smile, "No, it's no bad. If you want to take it, you should."
Blaine returned the smile and picked up the stuffed animal, holding it carefully in her free hand.
"Thanks, by the way," she said softly, glancing over at Andion.
"Thanks for what?" Andion asked softly, confusion lining his face.
"For… not laughing at me about all of this–" Blaine swept her arms around the room. "I guess…"
Andion smiled softly and placed a kiss to Blaine's head, "I would never laugh at you for anything, okay?"
Blaine gave him a small smile in return and reached up to peck his lips. "Let's go home now, yeah?"
"Yeah, I'm exhausted." Andion sighed a little and squeezed her side before leading them out of the house.
Blaine hummed in agreement and leaned into his side as they walked. After a while, she glanced at him out of the corner of her eye.
"Would you mind if I stayed with you tonight?" she asked softly. "I… I don't think I could sleep if I'm by myself…"
"That's perfectly fine, of course I wouldn't mind." Andion replied, giving her a soft smile, "You can stay with me for however long you want."
"Thank you," Blaine breathed, returning the smile.
"You don't need to thank me." Andion replied, pecking her cheek as they walked into the gates of the guild.
"Well, I did anyway," Blaine joked with a chuckle.
“Well, you don’t need to thank me about something like that again, okay?” Andion raised a brow as he pushed the door to his room open.
Blaine gave him a small smile and nodded. "Okay. Bed right away, then? Or did you want to stay up and talk for a bit?"
Andion shrugged a shoulder, “I don’t mind. Whatever you wanna do is cool by me.”
Blaine nodded slowly and walked over to the trunk that held some of her clothes. "Let's just go to sleep, then."
Andion sighed a little and nodded, slipping off his shirt and climbing onto the bed, "Sleep sounds good to me."
Blaine gave him a quick smile before heading to the bathroom to change quickly. When she was done, she walked back out, set her clothes in the trunk, and climbed into bed with Andion. She curled up to his side and pressed a kiss to his cheek.
"'Night, love," she murmured sleepily.
"Good night, dear." Andion kissed her back before wrapping Blaine in his arms and falling asleep.
(Skip?)
Blaine smiled as she drifted off, and it lingered as she slept. There were no nightmares tonight, only pleasant dreams of memories she had of her family.
(Sure)
Andion awoke with a small sigh, not ready to wake up yet. He pulled Blaine closer and snuggled into her a little.
Blaine made a soft sound when Andion pulled her closer, and she buried her face in his chest. It must be morning, if he was awake. Why did it have to be morning already?
Andion ran a hand through Blaine's hair with a small sigh, "Morning…" He muttered.
Blaine hummed a bit and pulled back to smile sleepily at him. "Morning. How'd you sleep?"
“Better with you here,” Andion said with a small smile, “How ‘bout you?”
"Actually pretty well," Blaine said softly. "Surprisingly."
