Zackary dragged himself for a few more steps before buckling to the ground heavily. “Dunno. I just know I don’t.”

@Dirt

Afriel picked up a rather large rock and lugged it over to Zackary, "shackles please, I'm going to Litarlly beat them to death."

Deleted user

Zackary tugged up his arms and spread them out so she wouldn’t murder his head. “Go crazy.”

@Dirt

And that she did. The rock was to heavy for her to bash agents the chains so she ended up just dropping it over and over again. After about thirty minutes the chains broke and Afriel hooted in victory.

Zackary snapped off the chains and looked at the remaining cuffs. He decided to keep them until they fell off.
“Thanks.”

@Dirt

"Your welcome." Afriel smiled and collapsed again, "I think I could sleep for a week." She mumbled. "But alas its not the time! Or place! Because I have no idea where we are."

(*you’re)

“That’s a good sign.” Zackary stood despite his aching legs. “If we don’t know where we are, neither do the other Angels or Demons.”

@Dirt

"I guess." She mumbled. Afriel lazily pulled herself into a sitting position. "But that means we're lost."

Deleted user

Zackary shrugged. “That doesn’t matter, either. This place looks luscious and full of prey. We’ll be fine.”

@Dirt

"I guess." Afriel awkwardly folded her water logged wings to her back while looking around. "You don't- you didn't hear anything when you where dying, right?" She narrowed her eyes at him.

Deleted user

Zackary looked at her. “No. Was I supposed to?” He started walking away from her and into the forest.

Deleted user

Zackary nodded. “Alright. I’ll go find something for us to eat.” He trotted off into the cramped forest, shaking out his wings.

@Dirt

Afriel began by clearing sticks and rocks so they had a place to sleep. Then went to look for four larger, longer branches that she could stick in the ground and hopefully make a shelter.

Zackary snuck around and managed to knock out a few rabbits and a few fish with his wings. He crept through the forest, then he picked up on her movements. He set the game down carefully, hiding it in some underbrush and snuck forward. Whatever it was, it’d be easy to catch, and it had its back turned.
Afriel was crouched down, though, making her look like a large piece of game to Zackary’s hungry eye.
He crouched onto all fours and launched himself at the prey, knocking it over. He looked down to realize it was Afriel. Shit. I’ve got it coming now… He was too concerned with her reaction to realize he was pinning her.

@Dirt

Afriel looked up at him, startled and not really knowing what just happened. "Um, Zackary," Her voice squeaked out, "what are you doing?"

Deleted user

Zackary warmed around the ears and neck. “I-um… thought you were a piece of… prey…”

@Dirt

"Uh-huh. Well, I don't think I am. So if you'd get off of me?" Afriel watched him with caution, heat rising to her own face. "And maybe you should make sure its not me next time?"

Deleted user

Zackary glanced down and hastily scrambled off of her. “Right right, sorry.” He quickly turned to leave and hang himself on a vine.

@Dirt

"Its okay." She mumbled picking up the branches she'd gathered. "See you back at camp." Afriles voice was still slightly high pitched and her face still a bright red as she quickly walked away.

Zackary nodded and grabbed the prey from under the tree roots. He looked at the tree, and seriously considered impaling himself with a sharp branch before trotting slowly back.

@Dirt

Afriel got to work as to busy her mind from what just happened. She forced the branches into the sand of the bank hoping it'd hold and not fall on them in their sleep. Then looked for things to make a small-hopefully useful- roof.

Deleted user

Zackary rubbed his ever-growing red face. It’s nothing! It’s nothing. You just made a mistake. Stop getting your hopes up!

@Dirt

The roof-when finished- looked as if it'd calapes if a bird decided to land on it. Afriel made a disappointed face before noticing how small the shelter looked. absolutely not. she went to take it down and start again but a small gust of wind did the job for her, making one of the branches fall and smack Afriel in the face. "Ow."

Deleted user

(Collapse)

Zackary trotted up, catching the few leaves she collected to make a roof.
“Having trouble?”

@Dirt

"Depends on your your definition of trouble." Afriel mumbled rubbing her forehead. "So it was, just the fact that you thought I was pray, right?" She asked looking to him.

Zackary paused suddenly and looked at her color rising in his face. “Er, yeah. Why-why would I think any different?”

@Dirt

"I don't know." maybe because I'd hoped you would. Afriel was slightly startled by her own thoughts and quickly tried to forget she'd ever thought them. "Right uh, sorry."

Deleted user

Zackary bit his lip and to cover that he held up the game. “But I got us food! Any extra sticks I can have to make a fire and a spit?”

@Dirt

"Use the ones from the shelter, its not like it'll rain tonight." Afriel sighed and sat down glaring at the sticks who betrayed her horribly.
