Ana shook her head irritably. “I need what you want. Not a surprise.”
Ana shook her head irritably. “I need what you want. Not a surprise.”
"Fine! Sushi works," Bree said in slight defeat finally thinking of something.
“Sushi?” Ana blinked at her. “What’s that?”
"You've never had sushi?!" Bree exclaimed, "Oh you better do your thing right now."
Ana huffed. “Fine, fine.” She murmured a few words under her breath, one of them being sushi, and pOOF! a thick platter of sushi appeared.
Breeze cheered at the platter as she muttered, "Holy shit. It just appeared out of thin ar."
Ana blinked a couple times and pulled a pair of chopsticks out of her sleeve.
“Er… what are these?”
"Chopsticks! They're like a fork except instead of stabbing you do the grabbing," Breeze hopped up and ran into the kitchen to get her own pair. She rushed back, "Watch me and you should understand."
Ana split the two pieces of wood apart, gazing at them curiously, then down at Bree.
“Okay, ready.”
Breeze placed one chopstick in the nook between her thumb and pointer finger balancing it on her thumb. And held the other one with her pointer and thumb grabbing the sushi by placing one on other side and closing around the roll. She lifted it off the platter, "See simple."
(That was a lot harder than I thought XD)
(xD)
Ana copied the other, occasionally fumbling with the chopsticks to get the other into position. She messily picked up one of the rice-covered balls and put it into her mouth.
Breeze laughed as she reached for a second piece, "It takes a bit of practice. You'll get it eventually."
Ana’s wings stirred a little. “Mmm… a little dry. Is there any sauces?” She looked down carefully at the platter. She pointed. “There is.” She picked up a piece of sushi with her fingers and gingerly dipped it into the sauce.
Breeze looked to the sauces, "Oh yeah there are. I personally don't like the sauces, but you should try them."
Ana popped the sushi into her mouth. “Mmm certainly different than what I’m used to.”
"Yeah, shockingly everyone talks about it likes it's some fine delicacy. Shushi I mean, but I grew up making this stuff. Well cheaper versions at least," Breeze laughed. Her parents made sure that despite being born outside of their homeland, Breeze knew the language, customs, and how to make food from the country.
Ana laughed with Bree. “You must have had good parents. I’m sure you’re quite talented at cooking, too.”
"I mean I don't have instant Shushi, but I would say I'm decent," Breeze responded grinning.
(*sushi)
Ana grinned back and picked up another bit of sushi. She dipped it into another sauce and popped it into her mouth.
(F my life right now.)
Breeze grabbed another piece and ate it. Man how long had it actually been since she had SUSHI?
(What’s wrong?)
Ana ate a few more pieces, not wanting to eat more, in case Bree judged. She sat back, her stomach still rumbling.
(Many many things. Mainly Shushi not Sushi.)
(Oof. Das oki!)
Bree heard the growl as she reached for yet another piece, "Do you not like it?"
(Also may or may not have decided Breeze's birth name is going to be Kaze (Literally just Breeze in Japanese) But she uses her English translated one to fit in better.)
(I like Kaze)
Ana shrugged. “I don’t want to eat too much of your food.”
"Oh eat all you want," Breeze responded with a laugh, "I could never eat all this by myself anyways."
Ana gave a happy hum and continued eating. “Thanks, Bree,”
Breeze nodded as she grabbed another piece, "Your welcome."
(*you’re)
Ana grinned a little before picking up anothe piece. The pair ate for a while, and by the time they finished, the platter was blank.
