Fox stood and quickly made his way to their bedroom. He grabbed a blanket off the bed before walking back to the livingroom and sitting down beside Madi again. Spreading the blanket across their laps, he wrapped his arm back around her shoulders.
Madison smiled as she leaned her head on Fox's shoulder. "You do know it's like two 'o clock in the morning right" she asked.
"Mmhm… Hence the blanket," Fox murmured, laying his head on hers.
"are you gonna fall asleep on me" she asked.
"Maybe," Fox muttered, his eyes falling shut.
Madison playfully shoved on his chest. "Go back to bed in your room" she said.
Fox snorted and opened his eyes to peer at her. "My room? I thought it was our room."
Madison rolled her eyes. "yeah yeah our room just go" she said with a giggle.
"What, you don't want to spend time with me?" Fox teased, kissing her on the cheek.
Madison stuck her tounge out. "No I don't wanna hear you snore while I'm tring to watch tv" she said
"I don't snore," Fox muttered under his breath.
Madison ruffled his hair "Babe you snore" she said.
"Do not," Fox grumbled his argument.
" Say what you want I know the truth" she said. Madison got up off the couch and opened the front door going outside shutting the door behind her.
"Madison!" Fox exclaimed, jumping up and hurrying out the door after her. "Where are you going? It's two in the morning!"
"The porch" she said without stopping
"Why? It's cold, you'll get a chill," Fox said, moving in front of her and placing his hands on her arms.
Madison pushed Fox aside. "Fox I'll be fine" she said.
"Madison, I just want you to be safe," Fox said softly. "It's too cold for you to be out like this."
"FOX I'M FINE" She yelled finally snapping. Madiosn realized what she had done "Fox I-"
Fox sucked in a sharp breath and closed his eyes. He took a few deep breaths before he opened them again and looked at her, his jaw clenched.
"Please just go inside," he said, his voice tight.
Madison closed her eyes. "I'm staying outside Fox" she said
"Then at least let me get you a blanket or something," Fox pleaded, his eyes holding an unreadable expression.
"Fine" she said with a shrug.
Fox silently walked back inside and grabbed the blanket from the couch. He made his way out to Madison and carefully wrapped it around her shoulders.
Madison grabbed the blanket tugging it around her body. "Thanks" she said.
Fox sighed again and kissed her cheek. "Be safe, okay?" he said softly before walking back inside.
Madison sighed as she sat down on the hard concrete steps. "I miss you Jacob" she said talking about her dead brother.
Fox laid down on the couch and waited up for Madison. Or at least, he tried to… He fell asleep after a few minutes.
After about an hour Madison went inside. Madison saw fox and threw her blanket on him before going back to her room .
