Kimberly's phone beeped. She took it out again. "Oh goodie." She said sarcastically.

"You should remember to mourn when you are old, otherwise, if you stay in the past, you are lost, distracted." Miles said coldly, "If you distract yourself, you can join the dead. Keep a clear mind."

Phoebe wholy disagreed, but she stayed silent.

"Miles stop it." Kimberly told Miles. "I know that you're going through some pretty hard stuff, but that doesn't mean that you can be insensitive. These kids have been through just as much." She said with fire in her eyes, not caring if Miles yelled at her.

"Listen, I'm fine. Don't worry about me, worry about your own sorry butts."

Miles remained calm. She was quite mature.

Naria Miles. People normally call Naria "Miles".
Age: 17
Gender: Gender fluid. Miles is typically female, but sometimes male.

Looks: Periwinkle, shoulder length, wavy hair, normally in a ponytail or man/woman bun. Miles has gold eyes with sapphire blue flecks. They are 6' 2", and weigh 153 pounds. Personality: Cynical, yet bubbly. A cheerful, eternal, pessimist, you might say. Miles is the embodiment of "Precious Cinnamon Roll " and will flirt with anyone, but rarely does so.

Phoebe looked sideways at Miles. Something has changed, not in appearance, not quite in character. It struck her suddenly. Miles was genderfluid.

"Hey, Phoebe, you ok?" Miles asked.

Phoebe smiled gently. “Just realized something.”

Ahh no we should stop and wait? I’m doing it again..

Kimberly decided that she wasn't needed, and turned to leave. "If any of you need me, or have any questions, I'm down the hall."

"What? What did you notice?" Miles asked, dumbfouned and confused. It was hilarious.

“Just…” Phoebe trailed off, not sure if Miles was comfortable with her saying it out loud. “I noticed you changed.”, was all she said.

"No I didn't. Even though I shapeshift, I never… Oh, waiiit, I get it. Well, you got me, I put my hair in a braid!"

Phoebe blinked, unsure if Miles was hinting. “..Yes?”, she replied.

"Um, if you noticed that I'm genderfluid, you can say it. It's fine, but FYI, I'm male right now."

Phoebe breathed a small sigh of relief that he wasn’t offended. “Good to know.”, she smiled, wincing slightly as her midsection twinged with pain.
