(Alright, I won't be on tomorrow due to sports day so I'll seeya sometime after that, bye bye!)
Tanrial nodded with a small side smile, "Ready as I'll ever be. Let's get this done quickly, yeah?"

(Okay, see you when I see you!)
"Right." Mike waved to Rick. "Let's go, Rick, you're with us. James, give us five minutes and then follow. Polla, we need your men to clear the rubble from this hole so it's easy to get back out when we return."
"Got it," Polla said. "Good luck in there."
"Thanks." Mike turned, made sure the others were with him, and leapt into the hole.

(Just dropping in for a few mins before the next event…)
James gave Mike a small nod of understanding before he turned and walked away. Tanrial followed Mike quickly, weapon at the ready if needed.

(probs missed you, but here)
They landed in a nondescript corridor, with only a few flickering wall-lights to show them the way. All was quiet, and no one seemed to be around.
Mike waited for Tanrial and Rick to join him, then beckoned and set off quietly down the corridor towards the door at the end. "The soldiers might be gone," he whispered, "but there should still be plenty of Ryker's other employees down here. They shouldn't be too dangerous, but let's try to avoid them anyway."

@ElderGod-Carrots

Tanrial nodded, "This place is creepy…" She muttered, taking in the old lights and dusty grey walls around them, "Does Ryker ever cl-" She was cut off by a low rumbled, followed by what felt like an earthquake.

Rick halted and glanced at the ceiling warily. "Hope that wasn't the sound of this place collapsing ahead of schedule."
Mike chewed his lip for a second. "We need to keep moving, but maybe someone aboveground knows what that was. Tanrial, can you try to get in touch with another psychic up there? I'm still not very good at it and I don't want to risk using the radio just yet."

(sorry, guess it was my turn to not be on all evening ^^; )
After a few moments, Bernon's voice drifted faintly through the silence. Ey, Tanrial….I think….I think I got th' chopper down….but I dunno what else is going on cuz I can't seem to make my eyes open…sorry….how're you guys doing?

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Bernon took the chopper down but uh…" Tanrial rubbed at her neck, "He used way too much power and is close to blacking out. He can't move so you need to contact James so he can find someone to move Bernon."

@ElderGod-Carrots

Tanrial sighed through her nose and nodded, "Right, yeah, got it. Come on Rick." She inclined her head before setting off down one of the dusty grey corridors.

Rick was able to move with surprising stealth for a man of his size. He soon split off from Tanrial to investigate a different hall, keeping his knife at the ready.
This part of the base seemed deserted, although it was possible to hear very distant sound of commotion from deeper in the level. An abandoned cleaning station stood in the middle of the hall, shedding supplies and tangled in a soaking mop. The floor was wet and very slippery here, as f someone had been in the midst of polishing it when the attack started. This corridor made a T shape at its end. On the right, there was a glowing sign in the ceiling showing a staircase symbol.

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Alrighty! I should have more time this week, bye! ^^)
Tanrial frowned a little and decided to try out the link with Mike, Hey, Mike. There’s a uh… staircase symbol here but uh, no staircase. You might wanna come check this out.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Tanrial sighed, Sounds fair. See you in a few.
Making her way back down the hall, memorising the way so she knew it for later- even though all these halls looked the same- she wandered back to where she had seen Rick go.

Rick met her at the intersection where Mike had waited and shrugged. "No luck on my end, just locked doors."
Mike pocketed his radio. "Tanrial said she found something. Let's pick up the pace, we spent valuable time there."
"How's Bernon?"
"They found him and someone's taking him back to the tavern. He did get that chopper out of the sky, so we'll have to thank him for that later."

@ElderGod-Carrots

“Thank god for that. Come on.”
Tanrial led the two down the grey corridors, looking over her shoulder occasionally to make sure she was going to the right way and not getting them lost. After five minutes of walking, the stair case symbol appeared and she pointed to it, “Symbol but no staircase.”

@Young-Dusty-the-Monarch-of-Dusteria group

"It must be around here somewhere…" Mike muttered, scanning the hall with its many doors. "Maybe it's one of these doors. Be careful, we don't know what else could be behind them."
"What level is this?" Rick asked as he started to snoop around.
"The medbay. So, labs, wards, surgery rooms, storage, stuff like that. Hopefully nothing too dangerous–that'll be on the lowest level."

@ElderGod-Carrots

“Let’s stay away from the lowest level for now,” Tanrial said, running her hands over the walls, “Surely one of the doors is…” She twisted a door handle and pushed it slightly, the door swinging open, “Unlocked.”

@Young-Dusty-the-Monarch-of-Dusteria group

The room beyond was indeed a lab, filled with idling computers. At first it seemed empty, but then there came a slight sound from the far side of the room, and they saw two terrified-looking scientists, huddled behind a desk and staring at them wordlessly.

@ElderGod-Carrots

“I don’t think they’ll do any harm to us.” Tanrial muttered, taking a few steps into the room to get a better feel of the place. Everything felt too clean and polished and tidy.

@Young-Dusty-the-Monarch-of-Dusteria group

"No…." Mike stared at the scientists with narrowed eyes, thinking. "Maybe they can even help us." He advanced on them, making them scoot backward quickly. "Okay you two, we need to know how to get to the level where Ryker's "kids" are, pronto. You guys are gonna take us there."
"You're here for the children?" one of them whispered. The thought seemed to give him courage. "You monsters! We'll never let you near them!"
"Great," Mike muttered. "So Ryker has these guys fooled too…..Tanrial, can you try talking to them? We'll search this place and guard the door."

@ElderGod-Carrots

Tanrial nodded, “I’ll try, can’t make any promises, though.” She sighed and walked towards the two scientists, seating in a near by chair and crossing her arms, “Right, I know you might not believe me as we look like the bad guys here but… we’re not going to do any harm to Ryker’s ‘kids’ we want to help them.”

@ElderGod-Carrots

“Because Ryker isn’t a good person despite what he’s told you. He’s trying to wipe out all pure humans and replace them with those hybrids. It may seem like a good thing but… we need to all exist together, no one race having the most power.”
