Ana let out a yelp of surprise as they suddenly sped up the ambulance. Falling ovver slightly. Ow… She winced in pain as the continued on. Great… they were pretending she didn’t exist. That was fine she supposed. It was better this way. She didn’t deserve attention. Ana almost fell forward again as the ambulance suddenly stopped. Ana opened up the doors in the back and curiously peeked at the group. Eyes wide as she watched. Hesitant to even step forward. Her eyes locked onto Ace. Oh dear he was hurt. Ana had no idea what to do so she ran back to the ambulance and began grabbing any medical supplies she could before slowly approaching the group once more. “Uh…I…I hope this helps…” she said softly, gesturing to the plethora of medical supplies in her arms.

@Nerd omg)

Ace offered to stay where he was as Macha dismounted Rhea, his voice a bit strained. “Are you ok?”, she asked him worriedly, hoping he would tell the truth.

@Lenered

"Yeah, I'm fine." Ace smiled, praying that he didn't look pained. He noticed Peter in the car that Skylar had just pulled up in. "Peter!" Ace cried out, but as soon as he did, his wound hit him like a bullet. Ace wheezed and leaned on Zodiac for support. What was wrong with him?

@KalamariCakes

Peter was sadly torn from his silent infatuation when Skylar emerged quickly from the car, his head turning sharply at the call of his name. He followed Skylar's lead out of the vehicle, "Ace?" He exclaimed, voice faltering at the sight of more blood.

@mistress-0f-n0ne

Here she was ignored again. Or at least she felt like it. “I…I dunno how to use this stuff so…” she shrugged and offered the supplies to Macha. “Sorry, this is all I can sorta do..” she was useless. So terribly useless.

@blue_topaz

Macha held out an arm to steady him, her heart leaping with joy when she saw Peter and Sky get out of a car that had just pulled up. She longed to hug them, but Ace’s health came first. “You need medical attention, Ace. Put your pride aside for three seconds and take Dani’s medicine.” She turned around to face Dani. “Do you have any more of that medicine?!”, she yelled, trying to keep the frantic worry out of her voice. Turning to the new girl, she thanked her and took the supplies. Ace, however, needed special help.

@Lenered

Ace didn't hear what she said. He felt faint. He was struggling to keep his eyes open from the agony. Ace's vision was clouded with red, his head screaming. He gave in to the torture and fell off of Zodiac, unconscious. Ace's last thought before he hit the ground swam in his brain, if I faint, does it make me a princess?

@mistress-0f-n0ne

She noticed how pale he looked. “What happened?” She asked softly. Ana noticed the way he swayed. “Oh!” She shreiked rushing forward to make sure he didn’t smack the cement so horribly. She knows this. As she has fainted many times before. Ana barely caught him, and nearly dropped him, before setting him on the concrete. “Will he be alright?” She asked the others. This was so confusing. She escaped the hospital next thingyou know they need an actual hospital.

Rough voices and stinging pain. Blake was slow to respond to the sudden wake up call, whatever drugs were in that needle were still prominent in his veins. “When I come in, soldier, you salute on your feet. Are we clear?!” Blake, with his eyes half open, barely registered what was going on. The commander. Commander Ryker. That was his voice.

“Y-Yes, sir. ‘Course, I'll sal… salute.” Blake slurred and fumbled for words, still lost in a daze. The noise was the first indication he'd been hit again. There was searing pain for a second or two. The rings on the commander’s hand had left several small cuts on his cheek. The medicine quickly dulled the pain as Blake struggled to his feet, accidentally ripping an IV out of his arm. He winced in pain and stood up, only to panic a few seconds later when he realized his wings were clipped. He started to thrash in panic until a heavy fist flew into his stomach. Blake whimpered and fell to his knees, taking a moment to pull himself together enough to stand back up. Although his vision was blurred, the red RAC badge on Commander Ryker’s chest stood out clear as day to him.

“I said salute, soldier!” The commander snapped. Relying on the edge of the hospital cot to support most of his weight, Blake held himself up as straight as he could, his right hand positioned in a fist directly over his heart. Blake could taste his own blood trickling into his mouth, but didn't dare make another move. An array of monitors were beeping loudly behind him, alerting nurses of the detached IV.

“Commander, I must insist you meet with another soldier at this time. The stress you're putting Mr. Thorfin under is detrimental to his current condition! He's on a large amount of painkillers as well. You should be aware he isn't able to process most commands. My jurisdiction overrules yours in this facility.” A doctor had rushed over to the two of them. The woman had a point. Blake couldn't understand half of what she said. Everything blurred into a mix of colors and sounds as he slightly swayed on his feet. His commander didn't sound happy. Blake felt a knot form in his stomach. How did he manage screw up this time?

“Fine then.” Commander Ryker spat bitterly. “Thorfin. I expect you to meet with me immediately after you are cleared. I'm sending you on a track and kill mission.” There was a pause as a cruel smile formed on the commander’s face. “Do you understand?” The last sentence was spoken slowly, with a disgusting level of patronization. Blake wasn't quite sure what he was supposed to do at first. He stared blankly ahead until the nice woman gave him a gentle nudge and nodded her head. Blake copied her action with a lopsided smile. She was gentle. Blake immediately felt like he could trust her.

“Thorfin-” The commander’s voice raised angrily and Blake shrunk back a bit, squeezing his eyes shut and bracing himself. The doctor placed her hand on Blake’s shoulder, trying to calm him down.

“Not. Here.” She practically hissed at the commander's raised fist. He lowered it, scowling at her.

“Pull him together then. Soon.” Commander Ryker stormed out of the room with a slur of curses, leaving Blake confused. He looked up at the doctor for help, but all she did was sigh and grit her teeth. She picked up a clipboard lying on the edge of the cot and looked it over quickly.

“Aggressive and uncooperative, huh?” She read, running a hand through her short black hair and looking up at Blake with some disbelief. “Guess the heavy stuff will drain that out of anyone… Alright, sit down so I can clean you up.” She pushed a stool next to Blake so his wings wouldn't drag on the floor. He sat quietly, his eyes partially glazed over from medication. The doctor gently cleaned the blood off his face and bandaged the cuts. It felt like seconds before she was sticking the needle back in his arm. Blake didn't say a word. All of this felt surreal to him at the moment. An out of body experience he wouldn't remember in a few hours. Right before he fell asleep again he heard the doctor mutter: “Seventeen. This kid is seventeen years old and caught up in a deadly civil war he doesn't understand.” The comforting embrace of sleep overtook Blake before the words could sink into his memory.

(Hey guys! Sorry for making Blake's POV so long. I might keep doing that for a little while so it's easier to get more characterization and background on Blake since he hasn't met anyone yet. I'm planning on Blake getting assigned to find/hunt down one of you for the RAC. If anyone has a preference as to who that is let me know because I have no idea who to pick.)

@Lenered

Ooh, ooh, ooh, pick me! Pick me! Or you know, pick Ace. Also, I love your long POV's! They're amazing! Don't be a debbie-downer! And please keep making them long! They're fun to read. And Blake is such an intriguing character. I mean, bad guy's POV? Count me in!

Thanks @Nerd! I'll have Blake's target be Ace then. Also thank you for the support! I've been playing around with ideas for a side antagonist that's more relatable to readers so everyone's patience means a lot! Hopefully, as Blake starts to reveal his motivations, it will work out. I couldn't have asked for a better rp group to try this out in though! You're all such talented writers!

@Natasha

Dani looked at Ace, dreading what she was about to do. "This is going to hurt a lot." She said. "Yes, Macha. I have more of the medicine. But just giving it to him won't help him now." Dani took a small bottle out of her pocket. She looked at the others. "It's good to see that you three got out of the hospital," she directed to Skylar, Peter and Ana. "Can you guys help me? What I am about to do is going to be extremely painful for both Ace and I." When they nodded, Dani smashed the bottle into her hand, the glass shattering and scraping her hand. She bit back a scream and carefully picked all of the glass shards off of her hand. The milky liquid mixed with the blood on her hand, creating a pinkish color.

@Natasha

(I'm waiting for the other characters reactions to what she did, then I will finish writing about why and what she did.)

@mistress-0f-n0ne

Ana nodded. This was the best she could do for anyone. Though she still did not fully understand why she was brought along. She was just…herself. Nothing special, so why her? Probably because she just ended up at their room as they were escaping so they just dragged her along. They’ll probably ditch her or something… Ouch that hurt to think about. Ana visibly flinched when she heard the bottle break. “What do you need us to do?” She asked the girl with the glass now in her hands.
