Hawkin sighed and put his face in his hands. "Whatever it is, i don't like it. It makes me feel weird and really impulsive. I need to get further away…"

"Okay." Kylie helped him up and led him the way they had came.

Hawkin still had his cape on. He got far enough away so where it wouldn't bother him. He laid down, and pulled the hood over his eyes. "Hey Kylie, this may seem weird, but I am really hungry. I want food. By any chance do you have anything to eat? Like maybe a bag of chips or something?"

"No…sorry." Kylie shook her head, sitting down next to him, the pink velvet cape splayed out around her. "Are you okay otherwise?"

Hawkin took a deep breath in. "For the moment. Besides the food thing, I'm ok. I actually feel kind of tired…"

"Then sleep." Kylie shrugged as if it was obvious, which it was.

Hawkin nodded and flipped over onto his stomach. Hawkin flushed a bright scarlet. "By any chance do you want to cuddle?"

Kylie raised an extremely high eyebrow, and then plopped down next to him.
"As a matter of fact, I do."

Hawkin was a little skeptical. He honestly thought that Kylie would try to kill him. But, He scooted up and propped himself up onto a wall. He stuttered, "My sister used to fall asleep on me all the time. Given she's only seven, but it's ok. That's another reason I have more than my fair share of scars… I protected her…"

"Is it nice to have siblings? I'm an only child, but I've always kind of wanted a sibling. Preferably younger." Kylie asked, looking up at him.

I'm here to propose a logical situation to the chasm problem, have Hawkin explode some of the stone at the bottom of the hole. It would cave in and you would be able to walk across.//

Hawin rolled his eyes. "Yeah, it's good, most of the time, others we just argue and fight…"

He smiled shyly at the kisses, blushing. Rigel tucked himself under Xander’s arm when they regrouped with everyone, biting his lip and sapping off of Xander’s warmth still. He held the necklace with a white knuckle grip in his free hand, trying to ignore it for now.

"Well, yeah. No one tries to steal your stuff, no one rats you out for anything…but it does get kind of lonely sometimes when the 'rents are doing their thing and you have nothing to do." Kylie rerturned the glance.

Hawkin nodded. "That seems like a just cause. Just asking, where are you from? I've lived all my life here, on the South Carolina coast, it just seems right. You, I have no idea where you're from…"

"France, actually. But I moved to Nevada a couple years ago." She shrugs. "English is a really weird language to learn, by the way."

Hawkin looked confused. "France? That seems like a really long way to come to Nevada. Why did you move? Oh, believe me. I know English is weird. You covered the fact that you came from France really well…"

"Thanks." She smiled. "I moved because my parents wanted to stay with my grandma, and I couldn't stay in Paris. Shame…" She shook her head. "Whenever I get an overload of any one emotion I'll start to speak in rapid French. Fair warning."

"Point taken. I'll try not to make you too mad. I know I pushed it when we were on that plane…" Hawkin smiled.
