Sisi slowed his pace as he passed through the shadier part of town. He didn't want anyone to jump him, but he still wanted to meet a member of the gang who (it was rumored), hung around here. He glanced this way and that, hoping to get a glance of a person or a stir of a shadow.
Hearing the unmistakable scuff of shoes against brick, Morrigan whirled around and looked up, huge black wings materializing out of her back as she whipped her pistol out, pointing it at the person currently scaling the wall. She immediately relaxed when she saw who it was, wings disappearing. "Sam!", she called up, shoving the gun back into her satchel.
oh it's fine! you can do whatever with school and stuff idc, but they'd logically have to have a legal guardian thet they were living with to go to school. and the melody thing is fine!)
Bren is 23, he can be their legal guardian?//
omg that's a great idea! Morrigan is 18, is there anything she could do to help?
Sam waved, and deciding she was close enough to the ground, somersaulted off the building. "'Sup morrigan!"
(So I didn't add to the character sheet but Liam's powers are like water/snow/ice and stuff like that)
Liam hated the heat. Absolutely hated it to the point where he wanted to rip his eyes out of his sockets just to kill himself to get away from it. He knew it was dramatic but didn't care. He paced back and forth in the warehouse, shirt off to relieve the heat from his body as sweat dripped from him. He ran a hand through his hair and continued pacing.
(Oh Carrots could we ship Sisi and Liam?)
Bren finished the pie he was making and decided to take a walk, maybe scope out some places to hide the others. As he was walking he came upon a high school age boy, seeming to be looking for something. He doesn't look too scary, still I better be careful.
"You scared me there." Morrigan allowed herself an easy grin, raking her hand through her tangled black hair. "I thought you were going to attack me.", she laughed. "How's everyone? I've been scouting for the past hour or so but there's nothing. Huginn and Muninn have nothing to report, so I think we're safe." She blew out a breath of air and ducked into the cool shade to escape the constant glare of the sun. "It's so fricking hot."
( i would be open to having sam be in a relationship too, if anyone wants to pursue that)
(huginn and muninn are her two raven-scout-familiar-thingies)
(Oh Carrots could we ship Sisi and Liam?)
omg and the plot thickens ;)
Sam wiped some sweat from her brow. "Don't i know it. I think everything's alright, I was just looking at the city"
Sisi heard something scuff behind him but he shrugged it off. He'd been through a lot, though he couldn't use magic, he'd still be able to flee if someone was unfriendly. He continued walking at a normal, rather slow pace, humming gently.
(Thanks Carrots!)
(I'm open to having Morrigan in a relationship too, I'd love to actually, gender doesn't really matter, she's questiong her sexuality rn)
(Oh Carrots could we ship Sisi and Liam?)
omg and the plot thickens ;)
(I'm like the worst shipper ever I'll ship a telephone pole and a lampost.)
Bren looked around him and shifted through a shadow, making sure his markings didn't show. Ugh, this day is terrible He thinks. Unlike the others the heat didn't bother him, no, but the light sure as hell did.
Morrigan nodded in reply to Sam, glancing out of the alley once more, just to be sure. "Alright then. We should probably be getting back. Do you want me to fly and carry you, or do you want to walk?"
Oh frick sorry spidey, I diddn't see your post.//
Sam smiled. "I'll never pass up an opportunity to fly!"
Liam sat down on the floor, only because it was as cold as the ice he could make. He was so dehydrated he couldn't form anything properly except for a couples balls of water from his sweat but he didn't think that was very hygienic. Heck, he lived in a warehouse, nothing here was hygienic.
Sisi bobbed into his pace, twisting his hands together nervously. He wasn't sure what he was doing there. He should just duck his head and go back home, where it was cooler and where he could grab something to eat or drink.
Morrigan supressed the full force of her grin but let a bit slip through. She didn't deserve to share happiness with others, so she would have to get used to holding back while showing enough happiness to make people around her comfortable. Stepping back from Sam so that she wouldn't accidentally knock her over, she summoned her wings. God., she thought, I must look like a goth anti-angel. The thought amused her. "I can carry you piggy-back or bridal style, up to you."
"Are you looking for something?" Bren asked from behind Sisi, his arms folded to try and make the short man look more menacing.
Sam smirked. "Bridal style is a tad more fun, wouldn't you say?" A couple sparks popped from her hands, as often happened when she was excited.
Sisi started suddenly, whipping around and almost stumbling over a crack in the sidewalk.
"What? No! I'm just walking home from school!" His agitation was clear, so clear, it seemed to raise his hair. In fact, it was raising his hair, as if he were being rubbed with an invisible balloon.
Bren tilts his head, the marking from his powers still on his face. "You seem to be waiting for someone. May I ask who?"
Morrigan shrugged, and in one smooth movement swept Sam's legs out from under her and scooped her up. She barely managed to hide a wince of pain when the full weight of her friend pressed into the fresh cuts running up her arms, hidden by the black leather of her jacket. Supporting Sam with ease, her arms had pretty pronounced muscles, she unfurled her wings with a loud whumph and shot upwards, spinning like a corkscrew until they were high enough to be below the clouds, but still fairly inconspicuous. "Hold tight!"
