Phoebe smiled weakly at Ayu. “Thanks, Ayu, That means a lot to me. I don’t think a C-section is an option, unfortunately. I’m already damaged, cutting me open would put the baby at a bigger risk.” She gripped Marco’s hand tightly, as if it was a lifeline.
