“You were frolicking in when I jumped. You were ankle deep! I was… something deep. I don’t really pay attention to what enters the water first when I jump.”
“You were frolicking in when I jumped. You were ankle deep! I was… something deep. I don’t really pay attention to what enters the water first when I jump.”
Lilah snorted and shook her head. "I was still in first!"
“We didn’t establish the rules very well enough to have a race,” Cameron huffed with a slight grin.
"Oh, hush, you," Lilah chuckled, swatting at him.
Cameron splashed her with water. “I will not be silenced!”
"I'm sure I could figure out a way!" Lilah laughed, splashing him back.
Cameron gave her a challenging look. “Really? What way is that?”
"Well, I mean, there's a couple of options, but, um, I don't know if they're okay with you, and I don't want to do it if it's not okay with you–" Lilah rambled, blushing.
Cameron gave a little laugh. “Of course it’d be okay with me. You don’t need to ask.”
"Okay," Lilah squeaked with a shy smile.
Cameron opened his arms for her, grinning. “C’mere.”
Lilah giggled a bit and swam over. She bit her lip as she looked up at him.
Cameron gave her forehead a smol smooch. He wrapped his arms around her, resting his forehead on hers.
Lilah closed her eyes and smiled.
"You're nice," she sighed.
Cameron relaxed into her. “You’re nice, too.”
"And squishable," Lilah murmured, hugging him.
Cameron gave a gentle laugh, kissing her cheek. “Yes you are.”
"No, I meant you. You're squishable," Lilah clarified with a light laugh.
Cameron gave a gentle laugh. “Am I? You’re very squishy though. In a good way.”
"You are," Lilah said, tightening her grip on him. "You know what else you are?"
Cameron gave a gentle hum. “What am I?”
"Kissable," Lilah declared with a grin.
Cameron grinned back, squeezing her. “I’m glad you think so.”
"Mmhm. I'll prove it to you, too," Lilah said, still grinning.
Cameron laughed gently. “I wouldn’t stop you from proving it.”
Lilah laughed gently before lightly placing her lips on his.
Cameron gently pressed his onto hers. Their beautiful moment was ruined by a loud splashing by the little puppy jumping in close by, barking loudly in her want to get to them. She paddled over like a good girl.
Lilah broke away, laughing. "Darn dogs."
Cameron gave Lily a stern look. “Lily! Why’d you do that?” He lifted the wriggling puppy out of the water.
"I guess she wanted to come have fun, too," Lilah chuckled as Lilac paddled over. The dog swam around them in circles to keep afloat.
