"Of course it is! It's cake!" Lilah laughed.

“Whoever doesn’t like cake is a monster.” Cameron sipped at his drink.

"A huge one," Lilah agreed with a nod as she finished her milkshake.

Cameron nodded smartly in agreement. He still had about half of his milkshake left.

Lilah licked her lips to clean any leftover milkshake off of them.

"What do you think of your first milkshake so far?"

“Mmm,” Cameron responded happily, unwilling to detatch from the straw.

Lilah chuckled. "That's good."

Cameron nodded, almost scraping the roof of his mouth. Though, he didn’t care, he just kept on enjoying his milkshake.

"You really do like that, huh?" Lilah smiled.

Cameron stalled on his answer until the glass was empty. He put it down, inhaling.
“Yes.” His voice came out low considering how quickly he inahled.

"Well, I'm glad," Lilah said with a smile.

Cameron let out a gentle burp. “Excuse me. Yeah, it was great! Thank you!”

"You're welcome! Should we get the check and go?" Lilah asked.

Cameron nodded. “Yep! Let’s skedaddle!”

Lilah caught the attention of the waitress, who came over and got them their check. After paying, Lilah gave her a nice tip and thanked her. She grinned, thanked the princess, and left them.

Cameron spoke up shyly as the waitress turned her back. “Our cake, too, please.”

"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry! I'll be right back with that," the waitress apologized.

Cameron smiled a little. “That’s alright!”

She came back a moment later with the cake and set it down in front of them. "Here you are."

Cameron smiled as she approached with the boxed cake. “Thank you so much!”

"It's no problem," she assured him before walking away.

"Poor girl," Lilah said, shaking her head.

Cameron looked up at Lilah. “What? She just forgot to give us something.”

"And I'm sure she's feeling incredibly embarrassed," Lilah said.

Cameron smiled a little. “I think anyone would, though.”

"Yeah… Let's go, then, shall we?" Lilah said, standing.

Cameron rose carefully out of the booth too. “Yep, let’s go, Lilah.”

Lilah held her hand out for Cameron to take as she stood. "I'm excited!"

Cameron smiled happily and took her hand. “I am too! It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

"Very much," Lilah agreed as they walked out.

Cameron gazed around the breezy street happily. “Where is the store you're taking me?”
