Mikhail kept sleeping.

(I was gonna make it a monster lol)

Slowly, Vos peered out the window, being highly cautious. As soon as he got close, the scratching abruptly stopped. "What the…?" he muttered slowly

(cool, I was just saying it was a demon child for no reason)

Mikhail woke up after a billion years and glanced at Vos looking out the window. "Vos…?" He mumbled, rubbing his eyes tiredly.

"Shh," Vos said quickly, gesturing with his hand before slowly opening the window. For a moment, nothing happened. Until a blur of a creature let out a yowl and tackled Vos to the floor

Mikhail quickly stood up when the creature tackled Vos to the floor. "Get off him!" He yelled, running over to the creature and ripping him off of Vos.

The creature yowled and screeched as it fell to the floor. Upon closer inspection it appeared to be some sort of black batlike creature, but its eyes were a sickly green. It’s chest also seemed to be ripped open, which gave off a green glow as its eyes. It let out a loud howl, its spiked tail lashing. “Don’t get injured by it!” Vos shouted. “It’s a Forgotten, and they’re highly contagious!”

Mikhail glanced at Vos when he started talking. "Okay then. Should we kill it or try to get it out of here?" He asked, not looking away from the creature.

“Let me,” Vos said. He glared at the creature, snarling at it. The creature gave a yowl before barging towards Vos. As soon as it jumped at him he grabbed it by the arms and viciously ripping it in half. The creature shrieked and fell limp on the floor, and even as it seemed to be trying to reform Vos grabbed a lighter out of his pocket and lit it before chucking it at the creature. It let out a howl as it exploded into flames

Mikhail quickly backed away when Vos said he would take care of the creature. He quickly looked away when Vos ripped the creature apart, waiting for a few moments before speaking. "Is it gone now?" He asked.

“Yes, it’s over,” Vos anserered, glowering at the creature as its burning body hissed and spluttered

Mikhail glanced at the spot where the creature was a few seconds ago, then glanced at Vos. "Do you know why the thing came here?" He asked, trying his best not to look at the body.

“I’m not sure. They’re usually attracted to supernatural creatures such as us,” Vos explained. He focused on the remains of the creature, and a wave of electricity washed through the room, making their hair stand up on end. The remains dissolved out of existence

"Makes sense," Mikhail replied. He glanced at the at the creature's remains before they dissolved out of existence.

Vos just nodded and ran a hand through his hair, letting out a slow sigh. “And here I thought we would have a peaceful night,” he mumbled

Mikhail smiled slightly. "It's okay."

“You go back to sleep, I’ll make sure that there aren’t any left around here,” Vos said before going and grabbing his coat

"I can come with you if you want me to," Mikhail replied.

“It’s alryght, you get some rest. It’ll only take me a little while,” Vos assured him with a small smile

"Okay then," Mikhail said, smiling at him.

“I’ll be back in a bit,” Vos said. He pulled his coat on and pecked Mikhail’s cheek before making his way out the door

Mikhail returned the kiss. "Okay then, don't get hurt," He replied.

Vos nodded before walking out of the apartment

Mikhail flopped down on the couch and promptly fell asleep.

Vos evevtually returned to the apartment, looking exhausted and disheveled. He had ended up having to take out a dozen or so of Forgotten and just wanted to sleep

Mikhail was still sleeping on the couch.

Vos pulled off his coat and shoes, and as soon as he spotted Mikhail he laid down beside him

Mikhail immediately clung onto Vos when he laid down beside him since he was warm.

Vos couldn't help but smile when Mikhail wrapped his arms around him. "Dork," he chuckled softly before teleporting them to the bed

Mikhail cuddled into Vos and sighed contentedly.

Vos reached down and pulled the covers up over them before letting his eyes fall shut
