"Hm… I think there's a good place about twenty minutes away by car, if you can wait that long," Lilah suggested.

"Hm… I think there's a good place about twenty minutes away by car, if you can wait that long," Lilah suggested.
(You’re such a traveler! I bet it’s really fun.)
Cameron looked at her. “I can’t pass up a good burger.”
(Lol. I mean, I guess I could be considered one with how much I travel, but I don't really consider myself one. The farthest from home I've ever been is Yellowstone.
The trip I'm saving up for is to Israel. A lot of people from my church are going, and it's almost 3 weeks long.)
"Well, then let's get ready to go and then I'll ask for a car," Lilah said with a smile. "Maybe I'll ask if I can drive it myelf, this time."
(Wow! Have fun!)
Cameron gave her a side-glance. "Do you have your driver's license?" He knew it was a dumb question to ask, but he knew fellow princes who didn't know how to drive.
(Thanks!)
Lilah nodded with a smile. "My parents figured it would be a good skill to have."
Cameron laughed. "They figured right. Driving's fun."
"It is," Lilah agreed, grinning. "I haven't done it in a while, though."
Cameron hummed, smiling still. “It’s like riding a bike, you never forget.”
"I know. I'm excited," Lilah said with a giggle.
Cameron laughed. “Let’s go, then!”
"But that includes getting up!" Lilah groaned, rolling over and burying her face in a pillow.
Cameron laughed and relaxed into the bed. “We’ll starve. That’s it.”
"M'kay," Lilah muttered, wrapping her arms around Cameron and burying her face in his side.
Cameron hugged her close, sighing gently and shutting his eyes. “This is nice. Just us.”
"Yeah," Lilah sighed. She smiled and chuckled. "Not like there's been much of anyone else around."
Cameron gave a gentle snort. “No duh, it wouldn’t be as nice as it is right now!”
(Sorry, putting kids to bed…)
"True, true," Lilah giggled.
(That’s alright. I’m about to get off for the night.)
Cameron tucked his face into her hair. He shut his eyes again, smiling.
(Ah, okay.)
Lilah sighed, smiling into Cameron's chest. The day was going quite nicely, now. Hopefully, it wouldn't be interrupted.
Cameron, too, hoped the day wouldn’t get interrupted. He didn’t want a vivacious parent bursting in or Liam slamming into the room with the dogs.
Lilah nuzzled Cameron.
"If you get too hungry, let me know, and we can get food sent up," she murmured.
Cameron smiled a little. “I’ll be okay. I can wait until we decide to get up and drive.”
"M'kay," Lilah murmured before reaching up to kiss his cheek.
Cameron smiled a little and kissed her head. “How long do you think it’ll take?”
Lilah shrugged. "Depends on if I care if I eat or not."
Cameron laughed. “So we’ll never eat again.”
"Possibly," Lilah giggled. "More cuddle time that way."
Cameron hummed. “That’s very true.” He gave another laugh.
"But we might starve to death…" Lilah mused.
Cameron relaxed back into the bed. “Wouldn’t be our fault.”
