Luis rubbed the bridge of his nose. "I…I'm so confused. Can we take roll or something? We should have everyone say their name and their…strange…magic power."

Kimmy has managed to realize she isn't dead, and joined the others. "So, are we like superheroes now? Cause I'm not that great at looking after people" She looks between all of them, hoping someone are to tell her that all of this is just imagination.

Desiree still was comprehending the whole "magic" bit. Numbly, she nodded, agreeing. "I'm Desiree." she introduced. "I think I can control the earth or something… not really sure though." She held her hand in the direction the canyon occurred, where Hawkin made an explosion on the ground. Still shocked, her fingers tightened as the earth moved to cover the canyon. By the end, a valley had appeared and sweat was dripping down her forehead.

"I'm Roxanne, y'all can call me Rox. I can control shadows or something." She frowns, still rubbing her arm.

“I’m Elysia. I think I can control electricity. I think. I’m not sure,” she said looking back at her hand.

Luis nodded, slightly happy that people actually listened to him. "I'm Luis, and I think I can control trees? Maybe plants too, I'm not sure."

"I'm Kylie…and I'm not quite sure. I made an asteroid come down for a chair…and I saw stars - literally. They made a dark hole in the sky and were looking down at me or something. I don't know what that is." She shook her head, confused.

Rigel frowned, then said coldly, “I’m Rigel.” He couldn’t -wouldn’t- believe some type of ‘magic’ saved him. Just a coincidence… “I’m ordinary.” He glanced at Xander, then looked at the ground. Coincidence.

"Then how…did you survive the fall?" Kylie tilts her head.

Elysia stared at her hand in shock and then looked up at the boy who talked. "who are you?" she asked.

"I'm Hawkin. Nice to meet your acquaintance. Now I'm going to shake your hand. Don't shock me, and I'll try not to blow you up. You ready?"

Elysia looked at the man like he was insane. She shook her head. ”sorry dude I'm not taking that chance,” she said before looking around.

Hawkin smiled. "So, you do have a will to live! Let's see, if I touch this rock, will it blow up?" Hawkin bent down, and picked a small rock up. Nothing happened. "Well I guess it only happens when I get upset or nervous. Or when I want it too…" He focused, and the rock exploded. Hawkin just laughed. "Ahahaha. It worked! I can control it somewhat now!"

Roxanne shielded her face again. "Can we try to stop doing that?"

"This is crazy." Kylie shook her head.

Hawkin dropped his face. "Awww. Fine. But I was just starting to like this…"

"I wonder where exactly we crashed.." Rox looks around.

Hawkin looked around. "It smells like the ocean. Plus, didn't the pilot say we were going to crash near the South Carolina coast?"

"Speaking of the pilot .. Where the fuck is Kyle?" She muttered, peering through the trees.

Hawkin narrowed his eyes. "Yeah what happened to the pilot? Shouldn't he be with us? Wait. Oh my gosh. What if He's DeAd?"

"Wait…all the other passengers? What…where's grandma? Where's tHe pLaNE?" Kylie whips her head around. "Hawkin…you didn't explode anything…did you?"

Elysia heard them talk about the other passengers and she started to panic. What about her family?

Hawkin looked down. "About that… I was pretty sure everyone got off of that plane. Like 99% sure. I think I exploded the plane because the roof kinda blew off, and I got sucked out. So, not 100% certain everyone got out, there's that 1% chance, but other than that…"

"Hawkin…" Kylie's lip began to tremble. "Did you explode the plane? Why isn't everybody else here? How would my grandma have gotten out?"

Hawkin looked at the girl. "I swear to you, I was the last one on that plane. No one was there when the plane blew up. I checked it over, and then the roof blew off. I swear, no one was on it. Everyone was gone before I was…"

"Where did they go? I don't think my grandma had powers that could have saved her from that kind of fall." She shook her head, not wanting to accept what had to be the truth. Although, what was the truth these days?

Hawkin threw up his hands in confusion, and suddenly he was covered in a small explosion. He lowered his arms and wiped his eyes, and coughed out a small cloud of smoke. "I swear. This is going to drive me crazy. Fair warning, no one needs to scare me. I'm just not able to control this at the moment. Do any of you mind if I go take a walk to clear my head? I'll be back, I used to live on Hilton Head island. I know this territory pretty well…"

"Okay. Just - try and find the plane while you're at it! Everyone was in there! Grandma…" Kylie began to panic. A bright flare shot across the sky - a shooting star in the daytime. What?

Elysia stared at the ground. Another shot of electricity left her hand. She was shocked and couldn't talk. She walked away from the group and sat down under a tree trying to breath.

Hawkin pointed up to the sky. "I guessed you caused that… Well. I'll be back soon…" With that, Hawkin jogged into the woods, letting the pale light left in the sky, light his way.

Luis sat down on the ground, his head spinning. "What in the world is happening?" He asked no one in particular, staring at a patch of grass next to him. He moved his hand above it, causing the grass to grow a few inches. "This doesn't make sense."
