@A5_ WICKED
"You're acting it. Says a crypted creature that escaped the SCP facility."
"You're acting it. Says a crypted creature that escaped the SCP facility."
"Y-youre acting d-dumb!" He shouted. He turned and glared at her, a strange, new look in his eyes
Takala tilts her eyes, her talons digging into the tiled floor, "Uh huh…"
He narrowed his small eyes, twitching more
Takala jerks slightly. Her head tilts to the side at a very odd angle
He followed her movement, jerking his head to the side
Takala's half blind eyes narrows the spins her head all the way around so the tips of the antlers scraped the tiles
Tino shakes and trembles, whimpering softly as he holds onto her. "I-It was a lot of dreams mixed together. All of them scared me… they were all so terrifying." He whispers, holding onto her, seeking comfort and warmth. He didn't know what to do. He couldn't tell her of his past. What if she threw him away?
Patch held him closer. "Don't worry. I'll always be here. If you ever need to talk to feel better, I'm right here. Remember, if I didn't have an awful past too, I wouldn't be here. I'm not gonna judge." She nuzzled into his hair, then kissed his cheek.
Toby just watched silently
Takala hisses a hoarse laugh
He looked away again, then looked up at the monitors.
"Kid. Heey!"
'What…" He sighed, watching them beep, then he looked down at the IVs in his arms, examining them
"Whatever you're thinking. Don't do it."
He looked over. "Why not?"
He holds onto Patch, shivering and shaking with fear. He took a deep breath and tries to calm down before taking a slow and soft breath. He relaxed in her grip, sighing quietly and shutting his eyes. "Thank you, Patch."
"The doctors will know."
He sighed, looking back down. "And what will they do about it…… If they couldn't help my sister, then obviously they aren't as good as people say…."
"asshole. Stop being spoiled."
He growled
Takala growls back, louder
He looked back down at the IVs
Takala snarls, "Lyra wouldn't like it."
He froze, his tics momentarily got worse
"She told me before she died to watch over you. like I said."
He remained silent, twitching
The girl smiled. "You're welcome Tino." Patch snuggled him for a little longer. She started to sing softly:
Der Mond ist aufgegangen
Die goldnen Sternlein prangen
Am Himmel hell und klar
Der Wald steht schwarz und schweiget
Und aus den Wiesen steiget
Der weiße Nebel wunderbar
Seht ihr den Mond dort stehen
Er ist nur halb zu sehen
Und ist doch rund und schön
So sind wohl manche Sachen
Die wir getrost belachen
Weil unsre Augen sie nicht sehn…
Patch's voice slowly faded out. She coughed. Pain went through her stomach in, but she was determined not to give indication of it. It's not like there was much she could do anyway. Except, she had forgotten the salt bath. "Crap." she muttered. She continued rocking Tino, stroking his hair.
Tino listens to her, the singing calming him down. He had fallen asleep again when she had finished, holding onto her happily as he slept. He relaxed as he was held, curling up under the blankets, glad for warmth and comfort.
When Patch determined that Bleu was asleep for sure, she settled him into the blankets and slipped out of the bed. She nearly collapsed, but caught herself. She held onto various peices of furniture and hauled herself to the bathroom. She took the bag of salt and started to prepare a bath mixed with it and some witch hazel oil. She changed into her bathing suit and then slipped into the water, groaning. Finally, her stomach was submerged. It stung like hell. She gritted her teeth to keep from screaming.
Takala cracks her head back into its normal position, "Well?"
