Layla pouted, "The tree wasn't going to hurt her,she didn't do anything wrong."

Victoria shrugged.
“I didn’t know. I didn’t want her to get strangled. Last thing we need is another person who has had an unexpected trip to the plains of oblivion.”

"What are these mysterious plains of oblivion exactly?" Kim asked loudly, still unmoving.

Victoria waves her hand. “People of Earth would refer to it as hell. I refer to it to as the Oblivion plain from my world.”

"Hold it." Kim sat up. "Your world?"

Victoria flops her hand on the ground.
“From what I’ve gathered we are all from different plains of existence. As a matter of fact I am from a world were on Earth would be the 1930s.”

"You mean you're not aware of the Internet? Microsoft? The IphoneX?" Kim asked incredulously.

Victoria shakes her head.
“After learning magic and discovering the plain of existence that Earth was on; yes. However had I not perused magic I would have not known of your major companies, your technology, and the Internet.”

Kim grimaced. "I envy you, then. The World Wide Web is a terrible thing."

Victoria nods her head.
“As I’ve heard. I suppose it didn’t go the way the creators wanted it to go?”

"No, on the contrary, I think it still hasn't gone far enough in the creators' view. Which is what makes it such a terrible thing." She lay back down.

Victoria cocks her head sideways.
“I don’t understand. All I know is that your plain of existence is waaaaay more advanced compared to my universe. Also their are no other races in yours which I am curious about.”

"What do you mean no other races? Do you have different life forms on your… plain of existence?"

Victoria holds up her hand and starts counting off.
“Elves, Dwarfs, Dragons, Elementals, and most fantasy creatures as you’d refer to them.”

Keenan woke up and looked around, he was laying in the grass, there were trees around him and he smelled a faint metallic scent of blood. Is this a dream? It feels too real to be a dream? He sat up and became aware of the talking nearby. He got up head pounding and walking towards the voices.

Kim whistled. "Sounds like a fascinating place. The only species we have are high up in the hierarchy or not," she admitted bitterly.

Kim's head whipped around at the sound of footsteps, and she jumped to her feet. A teen boy walked into the clearing with a befuddled expression. "Just great. Another one." She crossed her arms.

Victoria looks over and waves with her stump of a hand.
“Welcome to hell bud.”

"What the hell?.." He said confused "Um…hi?"

Victoria points towards all the trees.
“Just don’t make them angry and you won’t end up like me.”

"…the trees?" He asked

"Long story I don't quite understand either." Kim beckoned to him and patted the moss at her feet, telling him to sit. "What would your name be?"

Victoria again showed off her eye socket and stump of a hand.

"…..that seems unfun…I'm Keenan" He said walking away from the trees farther into the clearing

Kim lay back down in the grass. "Unfun is not a word, Keenan."

Victoria nods.

"Grammer nazi's? I just woke up in some place and your telling me the trees will kill me I'm not nessesarily thinking about grammar"

Kim rolled her eyes. "Typical teenage boy."
