"Okay." Mariko smiled and then turned towards the door, "I should probably go check on Phoebe. I heard there was something wrong?"

"Oh, yeah she's…it's a long story." Micah's smile faded slightly.

"Why don't you tell me?" Mari already knew what had happened, but she wanted to talk to Micah a bit more. He was really cute.

"Well, she got a shot at school along with the other girls. For some reason, it had a sperm in it. Or multiple sperm. Sperms? I don't know. Now she's about one month pregnant. I think." He rubbed his head. "Ugh, I feel bad for forgetting so much."

"Sounds wild." Mariko nodded and then searched up sperm in her head. Oh. Okay.

"I feel bad for her." Micah leaned back against the wall. I have to tell her about the virtual reality world. Everyone else knows…ugh, but I can't! I can't!

"Me too." Mariko edged a little bit closer and then sat down on the floor. "The floor has a billion germs right now, but I don't really care." she yawned and brought her knees up, hugging them.

"Hey, Mari?" Alright, here we go. He sat down next to her, his injured leg out in front of him. Micah explained the whole VR situation to Mariko, leaving out the part where he was the saddest about her death.

Mariko leaned forward and touched Micah's cheek. "I'm so sorry. Are you feeling better?" she scanned his head and searched for signs of emotional trauma.

"Yeah…" SHE'S TOUCHING MY FACE!!!!!!! Micah's head screamed. "I'm….great."

"You sure?" Mari leaned forward a bit more, and touched his forehead.

OH MY GOD SHE GOT CLOSER!! Micah's whole face was red now. He gulped. "Yes I'm…great."

"There was a little pause there." Mariko raised an eyebrow.

"Well, I wasn't the best earlier but…now? I'm great." Micah smiled at her.

"Okay." her voice dropped to a whisper, as Mari was now close enough to Micah that he could hear her.

Micah gulped again. "..O-okay…" He was afraid that his face would catch on fire, it was so warm.

Mariko smiled, "I just said that." she paused, leaving them in silence. "I can feel your breath on my face."

He nodded. "..Yeah…" I hope my breath doesn't stink… "I can feel your breath too."

Mariko wrinkled her nose, "Does it smell?"

"No. It smells.." Like cinnamon.. "…good." He ended.

"Thanks." Mariko smiled, "Your breath smells like….Ginger."
