Marcus scratched at his arm, contemplating grabbing Sat's hand and just rolling with whatever happens after. But before he could do anything, they started to approach the house, and he could see his green and blue bike leaning against the side of it. Oh, thank goodness.
"That's your bike?" He pointed to the bike that is put against the wall of the house.
"Yep." Marcus was quick to run up to the house and grab the bike, then wheel it back over to Saturnus. "Did you not bring a bike?" He asked.
"No.." He laughed.
"Sorry, im not as active as you." Sat was smiling and his dimples were visible.
"Ehe, yeah, I'm not that active, either. It's just..y-y'know, nice to have a mode of transportation." He turned the bike onto the sidewalk, then smirked at Saturnus. "You wanna race?"
"The dorm is not that far away… Okay!" He showed Marcus the direction and grinned.
Marcus giggled, holding tightly onto the handlebars and looking in the direction of the dorms. "Wanna see if you're faster than me on a bike? Because, I'm honestly not that fast."
"I have a feeling that you are lying, but YES" His eyes lit up.
"O-ohh, no, I'm a rubbish liar. Not that I would lie to you, anyway." Marcus grinned, hopping onto his bike and balancing himself. "Ready when you are."
"Ready!" He rolled up his sleeves and ran his hand through his hair.
"Okay!" Marcus leaned forward on the bike and glanced at Saturnus. "Ready…set-go!" He pushed forward and started pedaling as fast as he could, which, to his luck, was easy since they were on a slight decline.
Saturnus went off. Halfway through the race he started laughing for no apparent reason.
He was trying to catch up with Marcus which was a few meters up front.
Marcus grinned and narrowed his eyes against the wind. He tried not to look back to see where Saturnus was, because, well, looking backwards while on a bike was never the best idea. He let the slope take him a little further before having to pedal again, and he could see the dorms up ahead.
Saturnus took a deep breath and went full speed. He caught up with Marcus and gave him a smile as he ran past him.
"Hey! 'Not as active', huh?" Marcus called, but grinned as Saturnus raced ahead of him. How in the world do you outrun a bike!?
Sat laughed and started running backwards so he can look at Marcus. Yeah, he hit a few people, but oh well…
"Oh, you smug little turd." Marcus muttered to himself, and smirked when he saw a streetlight coming up behind Saturnus. "Enjoy that pole!" He called, pedaling ahead.
Alex nodded before he ran over to his car and got in.
Col hopped into his car, Kingston jumping in beside him. He started the drive back to his dorm, checking back to make sure Alex was following him.
"Wha-" He bumps into poll. "Ouuuchh.." he mumbles to himself noticing that Marcus is beating him. He quickly tries to catch up.
Marcus laughed as he soon came up on the dorm. He struggled for a moment, but eventually skidded to a stop next to a tree and looked back at Saturnus. "Haha!"
Saturnus gives up at the last second and started walking-running.
He walked over to Marcus.
"Stupid pole.." He rubbed his head and laughed.
"Well played, well played…"
"Thank you, thank you." Marcus hopped off of the bike and did a little bow, then smirked as he poked Saturnus' arm. "That's what you get for being cocky and not watching the path."
Sat stuck his tongue out and laughed.
"Finee… I was too cocky, ill admit it..Now lets go?"
Marcus nodded, pulling his bike over to the building and locking it to a bike stand. He turned to Sat and smiled. "Lead the way."
They walked up to the highest floor and Sat opened the door.
The apartment was pretty empty, just a lot of books and plants, oh, and of course big windows.
"Welcome to my empty, lonely, home.." He smiled.
(i will prob go to bed soon)
(Okiee)
Marcus stepped into the room, smiling as he looked around. "Empty, yes. Lonely-" He turned to Saturnus. "Not with me here, I hope."
Sat smiled and chuckled.
"Soo… Whatcha wanna do?"he threw his backpack on the ground.
