Mariko ran through the halls, asking for directions and making her way back to the others. She recited what she was going to say in her head, over and over again. I have to go, I'm sorry. Micah looked over at Marco. "What are you doing?"

Marco looked down the hall to see Mari's fists clenched and her jaw set. "What are you doing?" He asked cautiously.

Micah looked over at Marco. "What are you doing?"

Micah rolled his eyes at Marco. Fine..ignore me. He stood up, balancing on one foot and leaning against the wall.

Mariko lost control and blurted out, "Never see go, sorry. Guys I have probably I'll again I'm." it was only afterwards when she realized that she'd completely mangled what she was going to say. Shit.

Marco turned back to Micah, "I'm planning my death. It's gonna be bloody," he said sarcastically.

Micah ignored Marco's answer, too confused by Mariko's statement. "…What?"

Mariko unclenched her hands, "Sorry! I-I-um-that came out wrong."

"Well, what did you mean?" Micah asked, adjusting his position so he was facing her.

Mariko ran a hand through her hair, "I meant to say that I have to go, I'm sorry. I'll probably never see you guys again."

Micah looked her in the eyes, his face filled with sadness. "…You…why?"

Marco frowned, "is this your big kiss scene?" He started to laugh.

Micah glared at Marco. "Excuse me?! This is a serious conversation!"

"I just have to. The scientist thing." Mariko explained and then shot a glare at Marco, "Shut up."

"But…you can't leave! You're part of the team!" He turned back to Mari.

"Yeah, I know. I'm being serious!" Marco laughed once more.

Phoebe wiped the tears off her face, grabbing the IPad to look at pictures of her unborn baby again.

"Team?" Mari frowned.

"Yeah…" Micah desperately wanted to tell her something else. You can't leave…I need you… He gestured to Marco. "Us. Our team."

"That's sweet." Mariko smiled, "But I really have to go. Does anyone know where the exit is?" her heart broke a little bit, wishing that Micah could come with her.
