Dara nodded. "I'm sorry about your village," she said as an afterthought. "That must be hard for you. What type of weapons did the Herti use?"

"W-will they hurt us? This… this 'bad village'?" Robin had found a corner of the tent and was now sitting in it, his knees drawn up to his chest.

"Yes. You are in danger. There are survival kits on 'Plane', I found them and stored them in a hollow log, a few leagues from here."

Skye looked at Robin, smiling sadly. He reminded her of her younger siblings, and tears pricked the corners of her eyes. She blinked them away, then held out her arms to the kid.

"C'mere. It's gotta be hard waking up in a strange place with strange people," she murmured.

"I will get supplies, you rest here." Mihaka left, but not long after, a scream echoed through the wood.

Robin was confused and scared, but allowed Skye to hug him. His eyes welled up with tears as well as he considered the idea that his parents were probably dead if they hadn't heard word of them yet.

Dara stiffened at the sound of the scream. "Mihaka?" she called out, hurriedly crawling out of the tent. She glanced back at Skye and Robin. "Stay here and protect Robin!"

"Where is she going?" Robin looked up at Skye fearfully, not wanting anyone else to die here.

After a quick hug, Skye let go.

"I'm Skye," she introduced herself with a smile. "I've got younger siblings around your age."

Herti warriors grabbed Mihaka, knocking her out, and then saw Dara, and the tent. They dived in, and took them prisoner.

"To help," Skye stated simply. Letting go, she released Robin from her hug. She introduced herself, trying to change the subject. "I'm Skye. I've got younger siblings around your age.

"Leave the tent." One said to the other, in Mihaka's language.

Dara struggled against the warriors. They were tribal, with war paint and furs. They yelled out in a different language. However, what surprised and scared Dara most was their weapons. They carried guns. Not spears, or sticks, or something. But guns. "Run!" she screamed at the tent, hoping vainly they would understand.

The Herti tied the two girls together and marched off.

Skye, eyes wide, jumped to her feet. She grabbed Robin's and Cels's hands and dragged them out.

"Go! I'll help them here!" she shouted.

"I-I have a big brother named Grayson, he's four years older than me." Robin fidgeted with his hands a bit. "My parents were travelling with me… b-but I don't know where they are…" He looked away, trying to blink tears away from his eyes.

"What?" Robin stood next to Celestia, unsure what to do, or where he was supposed to go.

The wood went silent. Mihaka and Dara were stuck, and they were surrounded by 30 some men and women. They were utterly trapped.

"Ugh," Skye groaned, then turned back to Cels and Robin. "Okay. I'm staying with you, but we need to come up with a plan to get Dara and Mihaka back."

When Skye rushed out, one of the Herti threw a spear at her. "Go! Help Cels, and Robin!" Mihaka yelled.

"Mihaka," Dara whispered, on the verge of a panic attack, "I don't understand what they're saying. Translate, please."

Robin froze in fear, staring wide-eyed at the armed natives coming closer to them.

"C'mon, guys! Let's move it!" Skye shouted, grabbing their hands and running.

"They said, 'Leave the tent, these are the ones we can use.' and told the others to kill all who stand in their way." Mihaka said fearfully.

Robin ran alongside Skye, trying not to hyperventilate. Passing out would be highly inconvenient at the moment.

"Ask them what they want with us," she wheezed, "ask them!"

"Why do you need her? I'm more useful, leave her!" Mihaka said in the native language.

The warriors glared at them. "Their plane crashed on our land, scum. We have need of her knowledge."

Robin and the others found a hiding place and stayed in it for a while. Now that they were away from the immediate danger, Robin started to breathe more quickly. He leaned back against a tree weakly, now unable to control his breathing.
