Rex grinned at him. “That’s very kind of you to propose, Lex.”

“No problem. You seem nice enough.” Lex stated, grinning.

Rex hummed sofly. “But you hardly know me. I can be anyone, anything.”

“I think you’re special.”

Rex tilted his head. “How so?”

“I don’t know. Just feel like it.” He wondered.

Rex hummed curiously. “Odd.”

“Isn’t it..” He muttered, glancing up at Rex.

Rex was staring intently at him. “What?”

"N-nothing." Lex looked back down. He seems…familiar.

Rex looked back down at his food and continued eating. Nom nom nom

"Have we met?" Lex looked back up at him, a little confused.

Rex looked up. “Hmmm… maybe.”

"I just feel like I've seen you before.."

Rex hummed. “People say that often.”

"I'm surprised we haven't met before, I live right over there." He pointed towards the left.

“I’m aware. That’s how you ended up on the ground.”

"Oh, no that's because I just did. I'm clumsy. But I was heading home."

Rex nodded a bit. “That was my point.”

"Yeah. I used to live in the forest just wandering around and stuff."

Rex hummed and leaned through his chair a bit. “Did you have fun doing that?”

"No, not really. I met some people but..eh.."

Rex tilted his head. “Who did you meet?”

"Just some random people. This one guy was okay, he had a nice accent. New Yorker I think."

Rex tilted his head to the other side. “Huh. I haven’t heard an accent like that before.”

"Yeah it was cool. He was nice..Don't know what ever happened to him.."

“Maybe you could go look for him eventually,” Rex suggested with a slight grin.

"Maybe someday..But I like it here." He smiled a little too.

Rex grinned. “We could go together, then.”

"Yeah. Then maybe I wouldn't miss it here so much." He blushed a little.
