Blaine clicked her tongue. "Darn. Well, if a librarian can't read them we might have to wait until later or tomorrow to ask your friend."
Blaine clicked her tongue. "Darn. Well, if a librarian can't read them we might have to wait until later or tomorrow to ask your friend."
"I'll go ask around with the librarians, if they can't read them we can go on a little adventure tonight." Andon said, giving Blaine a wink before standing.
"Hm, all right," Blaine hummed, grinning up at him. "I'll look for more of the symbols."
Andion nodded and headed off to find the librarians. Asking them what he wanted to find out with not much luck.
Blaine had flipped through every book and was on the last one when she noticed something. There were indented areas in the margins of the pages that looked very similar to the ones on the door and in the other book. She squinted at them and leaned closer to the table.
"Nothing. No one here can read them." Andion sighed and sat down, rubbing his face, "Find anything?"
"Yeah, I think…" Blaine said as she pushed the book closer to him. She pointed to the indentations. "See those? They match the ones on the door and in the other book."
"So they do. Nice work Blaine." Andion gave her a grin.
"Thanks. Now… Should we look for more or move on?" Blaine wondered, smiling up at him.
Andion shrugged, "Like I said, my friend doesn't arrive until later tonight so… why don't we go get lunch?"
"That sounds like a good idea. I'm starving," Blaine chuckled, closing the book before standing.
"Me too." Andion stood and closed his book, "Let's just leave the books here."
Blaine nodded. "Sure. It'll take too much time to figure out where they belong. Plus, we can find them again easier this way."
"All true. I was just being lazy in all honestly." Andion admitted, heading towards the door.
"Go figure. Leave it to the woman to come up with a legitimate reason," Blaine teased with a grin, nudging him gently.
"Hey!" Andion nudged her back but grinned, "I also thought it would be easier to come back to… but lazy is the main reason."
"Ha! Sure it is," Blaine joked with a laugh.
"It is! Assassin's honor." Andion said, placing a hand in his chest.
"As if our honor has much meaning," Blaine said, rolling her eyes. "We're assassins for goodness sake. We hardly have honor."
"Again, another good point. Alright, man's honor, my honor." Andion said, crossing his arms but still smiling.
"Hm… All right. I'll accept that," Blaine said with a smirk.
"Great, now let's see what's for lunch." He said, pushing the doors open.
"Hopefully fresh fruit again. I could really go for an apple right now," Blaine said as she stepped inside.
"Your wish came true." Andion said as he noticed the fruit on the table, along with some lamb and vegetables.
Blaine grinned. "Huh. Maybe I should wish for stuff more often if it shows up," she joked as she made her way over to the food.
"I hope you won't wish for me to disappear then." Andion said as he filled up his plate with food.
"I would never. That would be horrible," Blaine said seriously as she placed fruit onto her plate, then looked through the other food.
Andion chuckled, "I'll have to take your word for it then." He replied, picking up a pear and throwing it in the air before placing it on his plate.
"What was that all about?" Blaine asked with a laugh, turning to Andion.
"What was? What have I done now?" He asked, biting into the pear looking completely innocent.
