Kaitlin smiled a little then let another tear slip, "I won't, I love you, too."
Kaitlin smiled a little then let another tear slip, "I won't, I love you, too."
Isaac stayed there is silence as he watched the tears slide down her face. "Whatever you want to do today, we'll do it. ANYTHING!"
Kaitlin giggled a little, "Let's just watch movies and cuddle."
"Let's go then." He smiled at her and stood up slowly.
"If you're looking for discs they're in the cabinet over there." Kaitlin said, nodding her head in that direction.
"Alright. Is there any movie you want?" He asked in a warm, kind voice.
Kaitlin shrugged, "No… disney maybe…?"
Isaac smiled and nodded. "Disney it is then."
Kaitlin smiled, "Yay!" She curled up on the couch and looked very much like a little kid.
Isaac held her close and turned on Beauty and the Beast.
Kaitlin smiled and snuggled into Isaac, letting out a content sigh.
As the movie went on, Isaac felt his feelings for Kaitlin well up inside of him.
Kaitlin had fallen asleep a little way through, still comfortably snuggled into Isaac with a small smile on her face.
Isaac gave her a kiss on the forehead then carefully helped Kaitlin lay down on the couch. He laid beside her and threw a blanket over the two of them. It had been a long first day together.
Kaitlin groaned a little when moved but soon relaxed, burying her head into Isaac's chest. Her legs intertwined with the others.
Isaac sighed and wrapped his arms around Kaitlin, closing his eyes and feeling her head against his chest.
In the morning, there was a light knock on the door. Kaitlin, still fast asleep, didn't hear a thing and just moved closer to Isaac.
Isaac heard the knock and looked around, slowly and groggily stretching, careful not to wake Kaitlin. "Who's there?"
"It's Sam… I was wondering if I could talk to you or Kaitlin…" Sam said from outside.
Isaac got up and fixed his hair. He left Kaitlin there to sleep. "I'll be back soon." He stepped outside and closed the door behind him. "Yes. How can I help you."
"I wanted to talk, about everything. Let you know what's going on." Sam explained, taking a step back and giving Isaac a small smile.
Isaac, however, didn't reciprocate the smile but kept a serious straight face, arms crossed in front of him. "Then talk." He said, trying to keep a calm tone.
Sam sighed, "Yes, I did fake my death but I had to. There's an organisation called SMPP, or Soulmate power program. We've figured out that when soulmates find each other, something in them unlocks, like a super power of sorts but it can only work when the soulmates are together and working together. It all sounds crazy but, I faked my death so I can go and work with them."
Isaac uncrossed his arms and frowned in confusion. "I'm sorry. What? That makes no sense. What kind of power does it unlock?" He asked, trying not to sound as upset as he was.
Isaac uncrossed his arms and frowned in confusion. "I'm sorry. What? That makes no sense. What kind of power does it unlock?" He asked, trying not to sound as upset as he was.
"It could be anything, no one really knows what it could be until tests have been done. Lily and I have super speed, think the Flash. I couldn't leave while I was alive, so a month after my 18th, Lily and I faked my death… only in the process our mum died," He rubbed his face, "I couldn't come back until Kaitlin found you, and now she has."
"So why couldn't you tell Kaitlin what you were doing? It tore her apart!" Isaac wondered aloud.
"The SMPP has lots of rules. You have to be eighteen and have found your soulmate before your allowed to visit. I couldn't tell her. Wasn't allowed to tell her and she was young. I feel bad, believe me, I do but I couldn't." Sam crossed his arms.
Isaac nodded. "I see. So you're here to campaign for us to join or something?" He asked, curious and a little nervous.
Sam nodded, "Yes, I am. It would be help you two become closer and help us figure out why this happens and what your powers are."
