Blaine loudly clapped again. When the kids had quieted down again, she spoke.
"I'll tell you all as soon as you've finished training. It's incentive to do well."
Blaine loudly clapped again. When the kids had quieted down again, she spoke.
"I'll tell you all as soon as you've finished training. It's incentive to do well."
They all groaned and muttered something as they headed into the training room for practice.
Andion chuckled, "Ah… kids."
"They're great," Blaine chuckled. "So impatient sometimes, but then they get so excited about whatever it was they couldn't wait for."
Andion hummed in agreement, "True true, even if this lots a handful they're still fun to train." He replied, walking towards the group.
"That they are," Blaine agreed. "Are we going to slip up? Or train them together this time?"
"I think together. Pretty sure the guys want to see if they can beat the girls in something." He replied, grinning.
"They can try, but the girls can be pretty fierce," Blaine laughed. "Maybe we should keep their egos up a bit, though."
"Maybe, but it's more fun for us this way," Andion replied.
"Alright guys listen up. First things first is once you've stretched, we'll do girls against boys in hand to hand combat. No weapons as, from me and Blaine, last time we fought with weapons we got hurt more then we wanted."
The kids all nodded.
"Pair up, or we'll pair you up ourselves," Blaine threatened half jokingly.
The kids all scrambled to find partners, most of them paring up with someone around their age. It was lucky they had an even number on both sides.
"Were you planning on us demonstrating to them?" Blaine wondered quietly as the kids were still finding partners.
"Maybe… depends on how good they are. They have some idea but maybe after one round we can demonstrate something." Andion replied.
"All right. Sounds good," Blaine said with a nod. Once the kids were all paired up, she nodded to Andion to direct them.
"Alright, I hope you all know basic hand to hand combat," Andion said and they all nodded, "Good, let's start with that for round one then if we aren't happy we'll give you a demonstration."
The kids nodded and they took up a fighting stance.
"And begin!"
Blaine watched the kids as they sparred. Where she could, she helped kids out, and she gave advice when she couldn't help.
They all did surprisingly well, and it was an even number of boys and girls who won the first round.
"Good job guys." Andion said, smiling.
"Grea work," Blaine agreed with Andion, giving the kids a nod and an encouraging smile. "Who's ready to move onto something more advanced?"
All the kids nodded and murmured their excitement, grins and smile erupting from them all.
"Great! Andion, shall we demonstrate?" Blaine suggested, turning to him.
"Sure thing." Andion replied, returning the grin and taking up a fight stance a little ways away from the group.
Blaine winked at him before mimicking his stance. She glanced over him, trying to figure out how to start.
"Ready? And go!"
Andion didn't waste time making the first move, coming in to attack her on the right side.
Blaine dodged the attack, though just barely. She swept her leg out to catch Andion off guard.
Andion hit the ground with a thud but rolled back and stood, swinging at Blaine's left this time.
Blaine let out an "Oof" as she stumbled to the right. She took a step back before attacking Andion's left side.
Andion dodged and grabbed Blaine's arms, kicking her legs out from underneath her.
Blaine gasped as her legs flew out from under her and she hung by her arms in Andion's grasp.
"Not fair," she muttered under her breath, glaring at him.
Andion grinned, "Perfectly fair my dear." He said, letting her arm go.
Blaine jumped up back to her feet and aimed a hit to his stomach without hesitating.
Blaine hit him easily and Andion stumbled backwards. Once he regained himself, he swung at her right side while his leg swung out.
