Jason nods, smiling softly at the other. He kissed Met's forehead as they looked at scarves.
Jason nods, smiling softly at the other. He kissed Met's forehead as they looked at scarves.
Met nuzzled into the warm cloth, studying a darker gray scarf with an ocean-like pattern on it. He reached out for it and lifted it up. The way it sparkled enticed Met, so he put it on too. Now he has two scarves on.
Jason smiles at the other as he chooses the ocean like scarf. He chuckled when Met put it on along with the grey one. "You look adorable." he mutters, kissing the other gently.
Met could barely see Jason over the two scarves. He grinned anyway and went back to looking at the scarves. He found a dark blue one with teal edges and put that one on too.
Jason laughs softly at the sight. "Where did my precious Met go?" He asks, looking around in concern. He smirks silently.
Met made a little crack in the scarves for his eyes and continued looking at the scarves as if there weren't three on his head. He picked out a russet-red scarf and wrapped that around the tower.
Jason laughs softly as he watches this. "You really are to cute."
Met turned in the direction of Jason's voice. Only a puff of his long, spiky hair could be seen through his cloak of scarves.
Jason moves the scarves covering his eyes and smiles. "Hey handsome."
Met smiled a little and turned a faint red. "Hi Jason…" He felt like he was meeting Jason all over again.
Jason smiles a little. "Why are you hiding such a beautiful face? Hmm?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.
Met turned a darker shade of red. "I like the scarves," He said stupidly in response to Jason.
Jason smiles a little. "Aww. I can see you blushing a little." He kisses Met's nose through the scarves before letting them fall again.
Met turned around and waved his hands until they hit the rack. He grabbed it, then started walking to where he thought was the front desk, bringing the shimmering scarves with him.
Jason laughs a little and takes Met's hand. "This way, love." He gently guides Met towards the front desk before removing the scarves. "These please." He hands them to the woman and she nods, checking them out before Jason pays for them.
Met made a soft noise in his throat. He wanted all of the scarves. He glanced over longingly at the rack left behind, spotting a pretty lavender one.
Jason looks at the other. "Hold on a sec, miss." He says softly. She pauses and nods, chuckling quietly. "Go on, Met."
Met would've much liked to hide his face in his hands as he scootched across the store to fetch the scarf. He glanced over gingerly and grabbed a couple more before scooting back over. He set them down, shyly smiling at the woman.
The woman takes them before smiling a little and checking the items out. She hands them to Met and Jason pays happily.
When Jason turned to Met again he'd managed to wrap all of the scarves around his head so that only his eyes, nose, and a few tufts of his hair were showing.
Jason chuckles into his hand. "Cutie. Thank you." The woman waves, "Have a good one."
Met gave a shy little wave back, the tip of his nose a faint pink. He glanced at Jason, hoping the other wasn't embarrassed.
Jason takes his hand and walks with him happily, chatting excitedly about the store. He wasn't embarrassed in the least.
Met gave Jason's hand a happy squeeze and walked with him, occasionally responding to his happy, excited chatter. He glanced at Jason's profile sparingly, smiling.
Jason 'ohhed' when they passed a specific store filled with different nick nacks.
A shiny little turtle statue caught Met's eye and he paused. "Look at the turtle, Jason," He murmured quietly, pointing.
Jason looks at the turtle and coos. "It's so cute!" He takes Met to the store and they look around, Jason holding the little turtle in his hands.
Met glanced around and found more of the shiny statues. He wandered away from Jason to go look at them, sniffing at the little animal statues. He was enjoying himself until he heard,
I have to do it!
Met looked up and around. "What?" He asked aloud.
No one would care… The only reason they want me here is for my job. That's the only reason I'm important.
Jason lets Met walk around, wandering himself. He hums absentmindedly, looking around for something to give to Met.
Met gave the bookcase a confused look. Where's this coming from?
I can't now.
Met perked up. "The backroom! There's no one at the desk…" He wandered over to the desk, peering at the closed door. Looking around to see if anyone was paying attention, he slipped over the desk, then opened the back door.
