Max sighed. "How are we going to explain this to James?" He muttered.

"James knows I can get hurt doing my job." He shrugs. "It isn't my first time coming home injured."

"Oh okay then," He muttered.

V nods and kisses Max's hand gently.

Max smiled slightly and returned the kiss.

Ve sighs happily, "I love you." he mutters.

"I love you too," He muttered.

He smiles before resting his head back.

He smiled back and glanced around the room.

He shuts his eyes, feeling tired and weak.

"Can I stay the whole night?"

"Yeah. I think so." He says softly.

"Okay then, I'll stay if that's okay," He mumbled.

He nods and smiles a little.

He smiled back and kissed his forehead.

"Who's watching James?" He croaks.

"Um, no one, for now," He muttered.

"He'll be okay. I can text Mia really fast."

"Okay then."

He nods and texts Mia quickly before sighing and leaning back.

Max smiled at him and looked around.

He puts his phone down and takes a deep breath.

He sighed and slightly rubbed his hands together since they were cold.

(My hands are still cold from like 2 hours ago…………this isn't good)

He smiles at the other tiredly.

(Oh no!)

He smiled back and looked around.

(I'M GONNA DIE, WOOOOOOO)

"You need a blanket?" He asks, offering one. He had two covering his body.

Max glanced at him when he started talking. "It's fine"

(haiiiiiii lowkey wants one of them to propose)

He nods and smiles a little bit.

He smiled back and looked around, not sure what to do.
