“Next week?” He grinned. “Sure! We can do that.”
“Next week?” He grinned. “Sure! We can do that.”
“Good.” She took his hand, smiling.
Havenwood squeezed her and continued walking. “You need to get a dress.”
"Mm, I do." Elise tilted her head. "I could probably get one in the city, they have really nice ones there. Could I go back?"
Havenwood hummed. “You could. Or you can have a God make it.”
"Honestly, I'd rather get one from the city. Trust me, when it comes to dresses, New York is the place." She looks up at him.
Havenwood raised an eyebrow. “But you don’t want one God made?”
“Well, what would it be like then? I still think New York is better….”
“It would be soft and floaty… mmm… it’d be awesome, I think you should haven't God-made.”
Elise shrugs. “Okay, but it has to have some New York things added in.”
Havenwood laughed gently. “I’m sure they won’t mind.”
"Good." She brightened.
Havenwood patted her head. “Anything for my Elise.”
"And anything for my Havenwood." She smiled, reaching up to pat his.
Havenwood pecked her cheek. “Love you.”
"You too." She grinned.
Havenwood patted her again and continued walking. “Anywho, Apollo shouldn’t be at home, so we shouldn’t be afraid.”
"Also good." She smiled some more.
Havenwood nodded. “Yep! We’re almost there!”
"Wonderful, because I'm quite hungry." Elise admitted.
“Hungy!” Yelped Thelisi between them, dragging the attention back to himself.
“So am I, bud. We’re almost there.” Elise comforted.
“Hungyyyyyy!” Thelisi wiggled fretfully.
“I know, I know.” Elise held him closer.
Havenwood quickened the pace. “Alright, alright, we’re going.”
Elise hummed softly, following him.
They soon reached Apollo’s house, where Havenwood let them in. It was devoid of Apollo and the lights were off. Havenwood flicked them on.
“Alright, what do we have?” Elise began opening and peering into the kitchen cabinets.
There was all sorts of things, even human snacks. Havenwood was rummaging around in Apollo’s icebox.
Elise was surprised to find a bag of cheez-its in the counter. She pulled it out in awe.
