Guys… I have something rather important to tell you all. I don't know how to put it but I know you guys deserve to know what's going on right now… I mean you guys are my friends.

What happened?

I'm very close with my family–I mean, I love them dearly and they love and treat me well, even with how we're living. I'm most like my dad, but I'm really close with my mom. She's been through two cancers and chemotherapy and is just such a strong and amazing woman. I love her so so much I can't even properly write it with the entire English language at my disposal.
Skip to 7 months after her chemotherapy. She's finally growing her hair back and is able to move around and behave like her normal self when we find out she has bone cancer.

Terminal. They can do nothing but ease the pain and try to stop the ones in her organs. This was about 8 months ago.

Skip to 2 weeks ago, with me listening in on a conversation my father was having with my grandmother over the phone. I hear things I shouldn't have heard, but it doesn't matter. I would've found out one way or another.

My mom–my poor, amazing mother who's been through so much already–has a tumor in her kidney now. Two inches in diameter.

The doctors estimated she has about a year left to live. My mother is dying. And in about a year, she'll be gone.

Dead.

So if I seem explosive or distant or I'm not active for weeks or months at a time, that's what's going on. I've been trying to push my emotions away and lock up my thoughts but they may get the better of me and I honestly don't want any of you to see me like that.
