Ash walks to the sharpener, meeting Marlowe right next to the door. "Play nice." she whispers to Mar.

Marlowe rolled her eyes. “Relax, Ash,” she assured her friend. “I’ve had my fill of drama for this class.”

Lila walked up behind them. "Come on Marlowe," she said in an overly cheerful tone.

“Coming,” she singsonged, also falsely cheerful. She walked out of the classroom.

"Wow. You know your fake crying is getting really good," Lila said as they walked down the hall. "Seriously do you practice in the mirror at home or something?" she asked with false fascination.

“Wow your skills at being annoying are the same as ever,” Marlowe shot back. “You and the rest of those losers you call friends need to chill.” She rolled her eyes.

Lila smiled. "Why? Do we bother you with our weirdness?" Lila glared at Marlowe, still smiling. "I thought nothing got under your skin and you all were perfect."

You could have him talk to the other people in class? Maybe Halo, like try to get him on their side or something? Idk//

Marlowe barked out a laugh at that, before remembering herself and flushing, embarrassed and a bit angry. “If by ‘weirdness’ you mean being a jerk to Adresin then yes, it does get under my skin,” she said sharply. “We were just having fun.”

Oh then maybe he could talk to his friends?//

"Hmm 'just having fun'," Lila said, using air quotes. She brought her hand to her chin as if pretending to think. "I don't get it. Please, explain to me how throwing paper, pencils, and highlighters at the back of my friends head, and then insulting him and us, is 'fun'. Go on, explain it to me."

Marlowe frowned. She felt guilty and knew she was fighting a losing battle, but she was too stubborn to just apologize. Either way, this girl hated her, and if she apologized it would just be weakness that this girl would laugh about with her friends. Marlowe wasn’t weak. She actually hoped she wouldn’t see her mom if she had Lila in tow, since the only people who knew how her mom acted when it was only the two of them was Adresin and Ash. She didn’t want Lila seeing anything like that; though since she was at work her would probably be somewhat cordial. Hopefully. “It was a joke, you need to lighten up,” she said at last, trying to cover up her guilt with anger.

Kelton sighed and took out his black marker, again, and worked on his drawing again. It was almost done and he was hoping he could finish it in this class.

Not much; Lila and Marlowe are walking to the office together and that’s about it//

Marlowe, Lila, and Jessica argued and Jessica used powers on Marlowe after Marlowe failed to use her water powers on Jessica. Then Marlowe fake cried and asked to go to the principal’s office bc she had a headache (but really to complain to her mom about them) and Lila went with her so she wouldn’t snitch. Lila and Marlowe are arguing in the hallway as they walk there. That’s about it.//

Lila laughed. "Okay sure buddy, I'll lighten up." They got to the office and Lila opened the door for Marlowe, gesturing inside. "After you."
