Elise leaned against Havenwood as they walked, cradling Thelisi in her other hand.
(Mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it’s fone)
Havenwood wrapped his arm around her shoulders and kissed her head. “We’ll be there soon enough.”
"Okay." She smiled as they walked, Thelisi quietly giggling as a leaf floated into his lap.
Thelisi picked up the leaf, holding it aloft like a sword. “Weaf!”
Elise giggled along with him. "Who are you fighting?"
Havenwood looked down at his son, grinning. “He’s fighting the air, with a leaf. Brilliant.”
"Genius child." Elise smiled at Thelisi, then up to Havenwood.
Havenwood smiled back at her. He booped her nose. “Let’s continue walking.”
"Of course." She grinned.
Havenwood started up in a steady pace, crossing over the gorge’s rock-bridge.
Elise followed him, Thelisi waving his arms at the space below.
Thelisi cooed loudly, leaning more and more out of Elise’s grasp. Havenwood glanced over his shoulder at them.
“Don’t drop him.”
"Of course not!" Elise readjusted her son in her arms.
Thelisi let out a shout of disappointment as Havenwood chuckled.
“Good. Make sure he doesn’t.”
"Ah, bugger." Elise smiled as another leaf flew past them. She grabbed it and handed it to Thelisi.
Thelisi gave a squeal of joy. “Weaf! Weaf!”
"Love on the thing." Elise raised an eyebrow.
Havenwood gave her a look over his shoulder. “What?”
"I believe our son intends to engage a leaf." Elise grinned.
Havenwood gave a gentle laugh. “It’d be a wonderful marrige.”
"Just not quite as good as ours." She nudged him playfully.
Havenwood laughed gently. “Indeed.”
“When are we getting married, anyway?” Elise looked up at him.
Havenwood lead her off of the bridge. “Whenever you’d like.”
“How about…next week?”
