Halo was talking with a teacher when he got a call from Alex. "Hello?"

The ambulance arrived and pronounced him dead. Alto sobbed and kissed him on the forehead as they took him away. He stumbled over to the sidewalk and sat down.

"There's been an accident… Alto's here…" He whispers, barely audible. Halo let's the phone drop from his hand. His eyes wide.

Alex walks over to Alto, "Alto?" He asks softly.

Alto stood up, not looking up at Alex. “Get away from me.” He put his hand out and stumbled away down the street.

Alex's eyes turn concerned.

Halo was thundering down the streets, his eyes wide, his heart racing. "Alto!" He cried, hugging his brother. "Oh god… Where… Don't tell me…" He whispers, holding his brother.

“No no no..” Alto freed himself from his brothers grip and continued walking.

"Alto!" Halo calls gently. "Please, come here." He says softly.

"NO! Stay away from me! I don't want to hurt you too!" He sobbed, walking faster down the sidewalk, pushing past people.

Halo grabbed his brother, "You're not going to hurt any one." He whispers, holding his brother tightly.

"YES I WILL!" He yelled, shaking Halo off and backing away from him. "This is my fault! He's gone and it's my fault!"

Halo reaches towards his brother, "It's not, it's really not. Alto, come back. Please." He begs gently.

"No just leave me alone." He turned, running through the crowds of people, tears streaming down his face.

Halo watches his brother run, his eyes widening. He bites his lip. He had no idea what to do anymore.

Alto didn't know where he was going, he kept running, faster, faster, tripping over himself but he didn't care.

Halo watches after him, his eyes filled with pain.

Alto eventually found himself near Stormy’s studio thing and climbed up to it, shaking with sobs.

Alex gently walks towards Halo. "He needs his time." He whispers gently. Halo nods and kisses his forehead.

Hewwo? Are you okay, love? I'm a little worried//

Ohhhmygod I’m so so so sorry! When I switch from my phone to my laptop it won’t give me notifications sometimes. I’m so so so so so so sorryyyy

It's okay love! I was just worried!

Alex gently walks towards Halo. "He needs his time." He whispers gently. Halo nods and kisses his forehead.

(Sorry again..)

A long while later Alto stumbled into the house and closed the door quietly behind him. It was late and Halo was probably asleep so he went to his own room and sat down quietly, his face blank.

Halo was up when he heard the other come in. Instantly he exits his bedroom and grabs the still warm food on the table and walks to Alto's room. "Alto?" He calls softly.

"What?" He asked quietly, laying down and facing the wall.

Halo slowly enters the room, his eyes filled with concern. Slowly he sets the food down and sits on the edge of his bed.

“Just leave me alone. I’m not hungry.” He muttered.

Halo looks at his brother and sighs. "I'll call in tomorrow." He runs a gentle hand through his brothers hair, kisses his forehead before leaving the room, hesitating at the door.

Alto shied away from Halo’s hand and curled up tighter, tears continuing to stream down his face.

Halo sighs softly and looks down before quietly shutting the door. He dialed Alex. "Is he safe?" Is Alex's first words. Halo nods. "He's home. I don't know what to do… He won't eat, he barely interacted with me-" Alex cut him off. "Halo. He needs time. Just be there for him, stand beside him."
