(Ack, sorry, my friend called…)
"But… you are…" Lilah trailed off, oblivious to the dog.

"But… you are…" Lilah trailed off, oblivious to the dog.
(Oof tis oki)
Cameon snorted gently behind his hand. “Am I? Thank you!”
"What are you laughing at?" Lilah asked, giving him a weird look.
Cameron gave another soft snort of laughter. “Nothing, nothing. Let’s go.”
Lilac barked, then let her tongue hang out of her mouth. Lilah looked down and smiled.
"You are silly sometimes, you know that?" she laughed.
Cameron let his laughter flow free. “Your dog is so great, Lilah.”
"Isn't she? She's, like, the dorkiest dog I've ever known," Lilah said as she continued to watch the dog, who looked back and forth between the couple talking.
Lily barked loudly at Lilah for attention. She hopped around, which drew Cameron’s attention.
“Lily, girl, what are you doing?”
"It's doggy attention time, apparently," Lilah chuckled.
Cameron chuckled. “Us humans can’t have us time. It’s against doggy law.”
"We could just let them off of their leashes and let them run around," Lilah suggested with a shrug.
Cameron chuckled. “I feel like they’d terrorize people with their cuteness. They’d probably get dognapped.”
"I mean, if there were other people around, yeah, but we're still technically on my property, so…"
“Mmm, your property, huh?” Cameron chuckled. “Alright, let’s unleash ‘em.”
Lilah smiled as she unleashed Lilac, who stayed by her side even without the leash restricting her.
"Go on, play with your new friend," Lilah laughed.
Lily flew off towards the shimmery lake, barking at the sparkles.
“Lily, you’re insane…” Cameron hummed happily as he watched his pupper.
Lilac watched the puppy run off, then gave Lilah a look that seemed to say, You're leaving me to deal with that? She stood and plodded away without making a sound, and Lilah laughed at her.
Cameron laughed too, having seen the older dog’s expression. “I love her. She’s so funny.” He watched Lilac advance.
“Well, shall we?” He stuck out his arm.
"Yes, she is. And we shall," Lilah agreed, grinning up at Cameron as she took his arm.
Cameron smiled back warmly before setting off at a trot. “Let’s goooo to the laaake!”
Lilah laughed lightly as she walked with Cameron towards the lake.
"Have I asked what your favorite season is?"
“Yes you have,” Cameron responded with a smile.
"Well… I forgot…" Lilah admitted sheepishly, looking up at him with a small smile.
Cameron nodded. “Understandable. It is spring.”
Lilah clicked her tongue. "Right… Okay, if you could go one place in the world, where would it be and why?"
“Hmmm… Rome.” He smiled hazily. “I’ve always loved Rome…”
"Really? Cool… Personally, I want to spend enough time in Australia to get an accent," Lilah admitted, blushing a bit.
Cameron laughed gently, but not at her. “Good reason. It’d be cool to go there someday.”
"Yeah. Maybe we could go together sometime. We could see the outback, and koalas, and kangaroos…" Lilah trailed off dreamily.
Cameron chuckled, imagining it as well. “Going with you would be a lot of fun… be one experience to remember, too.”
