Her eyebrows shot up. Again?! Ooo, that's dangerous, maybe I should just go.
“You’re not going anywhere,” he smiled.

Sometimes it was, sometime it wasn't. 50/50 shot.
Darren walked upstairs, figuring he could probably get a shower in before Lillian woke.

She smiled, amused. Again, totally not creepy.
Lillian was snoring softly the entire time.

“Yeah I’m over it. I’m creepy whatever.”
And I love my little creep. He makes me happy. She kissed his nose lightly.
“I think I’m supposed to know where Austin is right now and I don’t,”
Neither do I. But he'd come get us if something happened, he's a responsible kid. She assured him with her eyes, squeezing his hand.
Darren found Cooper in the corner of Darren’s room holding a picture tightly with his knees to his chest.

“Yeah he’s probably fine. He’s a good kid,”
Besides, I like having this time together. Just the two of us. She smiled gently.
“Yeah this is nice. Im happy I didn’t lose you,”
Her gaze dropped and her smile faded. "Yeah…sorry for all the stress…
“Hmm that’s too bad, I’m really gonna miss that smile. I feel bad that I scared it away,”
The corners of her mouth twitched up for a second. Success!
“Is that all I get?” he pressed their foreheads together.
Have you earned anything more? She raised an eyebrow, suppressing an amused smirk.
He poked her side a few times, a smile rose to his own lips.
She bit her lip, holding in a giggle. Noooo, don't do that. She's ticklish! Do it more!
He squeezed her side a few times, “Is there a problem?”
She shook her head, pressing her hand over her mouth to hold back a laugh.

Lillian slept some more. Her eyebrows starting to furrow as not so pleasant memories start to resurface.
She shook her head, pressing her hand over her mouth to hold back a laugh.
He just continued, knowing fully she’d break eventually.
Finally, she broke, her laughter pouring forth, weakened from the swelling but it had come down a good bit.
He smiled and kissed her cheek, “I love you so much,”
"I love you too." She smiled, glad her voice was coming back even though it was still kind of rough and strained.

“I thought you were asleep,” Darren looked over at Cooper with concern.
“I was,” he sniffed. “I don’t know the last time I slept for more than an hour. Probably after the first time it happened.”
“Are you okay?”
“I hope I am,” Cooper said quietly.
"I love you too." She smiled, glad her voice was coming back even though it was still kind of rough and strained.
He barely noticed the strain in her voice, her love sent a shock through him. He laid his head on her shoulder.
"Don't worry sugar, your pretty voiced princess will return, just give her a few more hours." She giggled.
Lillian tried to mentally push it down in her sleep, but she couldn't the memories taking over her dreams like an illness that wouldn't be cured.
