I smiled and nodded.
"That's a lot of months. How's the experience? Is it good or bad?"
I tried to make this easy for Fox, immediately noticing that he probably refuses to speak, and I had to work with that. Maybe next time we talk I'll bring a notepad and pencil.

Fox shrugged with a slight frown. He glanced around the room and then made the symbol for crazy with his hands, hoping Exila got the message. He inclined his head towards her, as if to ask her how she was faring.

Background: she was abandoned at 5 years old. When police found her they saw that she showed signs of neglect and abuse. They couldn’t find her parents so she ended up in the foster system. The longest she ever spent at a home was a year and a half. Everywhere she goes she does something wrong and gets kicked out. He last home she was at she punched her foster father and ran off (she had a good reason but no one will listen to her)

Personality: has so many walls built up. She can be aggressive when she sees fit. She’s snappy, defensive, and closed off.

"Well, yeah I guess I could have concluded that it's pretty chaotic. What with the nine year old and all. Have they done anything to punish him? He acts as if he's been rewarded for that sort of thing."
I realize I'm rambling and force myself to stop. I don't want to spill too much and make him nervous, so I allow a bit of room for him to tell me about himself. That is, until I realize he's looking at me with an expecting look.
"Oh, I haven't had anything particularly interesting happen to me. At least, not yet. I apologize if I come off as talkative. Now that I'm going here they said I couldn't talk to my therapist anymore, so I have a lot on my mind."

Fox shrugged, looking notably less worried now that Exila was doing so much talking. He didn't mind. In fact, he liked that she was talking a lot. Less for him to have to say. He smiled briefly.

Belle moves away from the wall and cautiously walks across the room for food.

A car pulled up to the home. Out came a man in a suit. Next to him was a girl named Lily. She looked up at the mansion. “Hey I thought the judge said I had to go to a group home? Not some mansion!” She said looking over to the man. The man is her social worker. He just held a cold expression and gripped her upper arm before pracally dragging her to the front door. He raised his fist and knocked.

Fox looked at Exila in confusion. A knock? Who could possibly be at the door? From the time he had spent here, Fox concluded that it was probably a newbie. He wondered if Exila or Belle knew anything about it. He glanced at her too for a moment.

Belle looked up and walked to the door first not caring if she wasn't going to eat her breakfast. She walked to the door and opened it up and saw another girl there standing at the door.

I started to feel more relieved once Fox smiled. I'm glad I could comfort him for a brief moment, even if I'm not doing a good job. I shrugged my shoulders and placed my arms behind my back, leaning into them as I throw my head back to look at the ceiling.
"When do you think an adult will show up? Surely they have to have someone taking care of us, right? I mean, we're all minors."
The door knocked and I looked at Fox curiously as someone slowly approached the door.

Belle looked up and walked to the door first not caring if she wasn't going to eat her breakfast. She walked to the door and opened it up and saw another girl there standing at the door.

“Hello I am mr dansfeild. Could you please go and get an adult?” Lily’s social worker asked. He still had a stone cold expression. Lily just stood there her arms crossed.

Fox looked to Exila as he heard the strange man speak, the curiosity showing on his face. He raised an eyebrow, wondering what the new kid was like.

Belle looked at him for a second. "I'm so sorry, but aren't you an adult? If so there is no need to look for one because there is one right in front of me." she smiled and said with a snarky tone.

Lily smirked and stopped herself from laughing. Mr Dansfeild didn’t find it funny, he glared at the girl. “Go and get the adult who is in charge of this place, please,” he said emphasizing the “in charge”

"Oh, him." she smiled. "Thank you for being specific. But um technically the person 'in charge' is the landlord or building owner and i think he is kind of on some tropical island melting in the sun."

Lily couldn’t hold yet in anymore and laughed. Mr Dansfeild tightened his grip on her arm but otherwise ignored her. “Child will you just bring the adult who is in charge of you children. Who is actually in the house!” He said growing impatient.

"Oh, in charge of us, like our guardian. Why didn't you say so." she said then walked away to the upstairs and got Mr. Valasters. He walked down the stairs and greeted the other man at the door.

Mr Dansfeild shook the other mans hand. He introduced Lily and told the man that everything should have already been signed. Then he turned away to leave. Lily looked up at the new man.

He glared at her for a moment then walked away back upstairs. Belle was sitting across the room in a chair nearby studying the girl and trying to see how she carried herself.

I am going to change my character to be at least 15years old btw//

Lily rolled her eyes at the man and walked in the house, the door closing behind her. She stood up tall with a small smirk on her face. She looked at the younger girl that originally opened her door. “Hey, do you know we’re my room is?” She asked.

"Yeah, just go up the stairs and find a room that is not taken." she replied to her. "Oh and also you can tell if it is taken if someones name is on the chalkboard on the door. We all have our names on our doors to not be confused."

“Alright thanks,” she said before going up the stairs. She was a little excited to have her own room. She hadn’t had her own room in 2 years and that room was more of a closet.

Belle got up and walked to the study, she didn't care about eating anymore. For now she thought just sitting down to read a good book sounded good enough. Slowly she got up and walked over to the study to find a book.

Lily walked down the hall and finally found a room with no name. She walked in and threw her backpack into the bed. She then sat down next to it.
