"Because this is big. Really big. And I want all the input I can get." He replied.

Rachel “awwwwed” and fell back against the wall with a sigh.

"Just one question. Will there be manuscripts involved?" He questions, sittig back down on his bed roll.

"Not on this one." Lupus stated. "This is gonna be strictly action based."

"Ugh, Will it at least get us food for a bit?" he asks as he ties up his boots.

"Yes. I think it's gonna pay well."

Sora rolled out of bed in her sleep, colliding with the ground with a light thump.
"Five more minutes…" she groaned, not making any movements to climb back into bed.

Rachel wandered over, investigating to see if Sora was alright.
“So-So… fu**… Are you okay?” Rachel always had trouble with Sora’s name, considering what one had to do to pronounce it.

"Sora! Get up!!" Unasa yells "I made food!"

Sora groaned in response with a wave of her hand. "Don't wanna," was all she said. Her red mane of hair was a mess and it seemed she really didn't care anymore at this point.

"Lupas is back, he got a job!" he calls, hoping that would wake her up.

Sighing, the woman sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Fine, fine, just a sec," she replied groggily. Turning to Rachel, she finally had given her a response. "And, yes I'm fine. Thanks for the concern."

Rachel nodded, looking annoyed, but not with Sora, at her neverending twitch and stutter. They didn’t have enough money to afford the medication that would help her.

Lupus chuckled at Sora's grumpiness. "Take your time."

"Will the money get us out of this dump?" He asks, looking around the small room. "I mean its cozy, but it fucking sucks."

(Hhahaha please no swearing my mom will murder me :)

"It can probably afford us one of the mansion apartments in the penthouse."

"Yes! I might be able to buy a book?" He asks Lupas, his eyes pleading.

"Heck, you could probably have a hundred with all that cash!" the redhead exclaimed. She quickly attempted to tie her mess of hair back to the best of her ability. "Whatever the job is, I'm in," she finished with a large grin on her face.

"Thanks Sora." Lupus grinned. "Also, I think you can buy as many books as you want once we complete this job."

Rachel didn’t add to the thoughts of future possessions. She just stayed quiet and observed. She too wanted to leave, but the others, in her opinion, were getting their hopes up. It’d take weeks, months maybe years to work up the money to move.

"Jeez how big is this job." Davvy asked, laughing lightly.

"Pretty big. Is everyone here?"

“I’m here!” Cato said, realizing that he hadn’t actually announced the fact that he was awake. “Sorry, that was loud.”

"I'm… around," Renee said, hopping onto a table. "What are the details?"

“Yes, details,” Cato agreed, pointing to Renee. “What she said.”

"Okay…" Lupus cleared his throat. "For a few months now, most of the vendors in this section of New Chiba are being plagued by some sort of demon, which makes their goods go bad or break easily. Customers are being driven away by strange happenings. Our job will be to track down this demon and dispose of it. Our reward will be plentiful."

"Oh, i read a manuscript about demons! let me find it." Unasa says, jumping up and running to his small pile of papers. "Its around here somewhere.." he mutters, digging through the papers.
