Zackary nodded, swinging his keys on a long finger. "Cool. See you then. If you want a drink, I'm here every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday."
Zackary nodded, swinging his keys on a long finger. "Cool. See you then. If you want a drink, I'm here every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday."
"Alrighty, I'll be sure to remember that. See you round!" Liam said before heading to his car, humming contently to himself as he left.
Zackary raised a hand in response and plopped down into his car. He set his stuff down in the passenger's, buckled in and started driving home.
(Skip?)
(When to?)
Once Liam was home he made sure to check the days he had to work for the next couple weeks. After that was done, he decided he couldn't be bothered texting Zackary right now and would do it tomorrow, falling asleep shortly after.
(Maybe when they meet up?)
Zackary got home too, unlocked his door and was immediately met with his meowing shorthaired cat, Mittens. He beamed and picked up the cat, who purred and rubbed Zackary's hands.
"Hello Mittens! How was your day?"
Meow.
(Sure thing)
After texting Zackary back and forth for a few days, Liam and him and decided on a date that worked well for both of them. Liam drove to the restaurant cross bar they were to head too and parked outside and waited, leaning against his car.
A car pulled into the parking lot next to Liam's and Zackary stepped out. He was wearing his gray shirt, classic red flannel, and jeans, that really defined to his lady-like legs. His hair was styled more casually than at the bar, too.
"Hey, Liam." He grinned warmly.
"Hey Zackary, long time no see." He said, returning the grin and placing a hand in the pocket of his leather jacket.
Zackary pocketed his trusty key-ring and kept his hand in his pocket, too. "Lead the way." He gestured towards the restaurant with his free hand.
Liam grinned and led them inside. He'd already booked a table and was glad of it since it was fairly busy. Their table was nearer the back of the restaurant and Liam led them over quickly, "Here we are."
Zackary slid into the booth, after glancing around the dimly-lit restaurant-bar combo.
"Nice place. You have a good style." He grinned at Liam.
"Why thank-you. I'm glad you think so." Liam replied, returning the smile before picking up the menu, glancing over the contents.
Zackary lifted up the menu too and scanned its drink selections. He soon choose the drink he wanted and set down the menu.
Liam did the same and soon stood, "What drink do you want? I'll go get 'em."
Zackary glanced up at him. "Sit down, a waiter can get it for us." He waved a hand lazily.
"Meals are brought over by waiters, but drinks aren't here. It's the one downside, now what would you like?" He asked again.
Zackary eyed Liam suspiciously. "Not looking to roofie me, are you? Try and roofie the old man?" He grinned.
Liam shook his head and smiled, "I wouldn't dream of it."
Zackary nodded. "Good, cuz it wouldn't work. Get me a bottle of rye bourbon, and maybe a cocktail."
Liam rolled his eyes and nodded, "Right you are." He headed to the bar to order their drinks. He soon came back and handed Zackary his before sitting down.
Zackary grinned at Liam. "Thanks!" He fished the olive out of his glass and popped it into his mouth.
"Didja order any entrees?"
"I got a bowl of Dirty Fries." Liam said, taking a sip of his beer.
Zackary snorted and choked on his drink. "Excuse me?"
Liam smiled, "They're chips with cheese and caramelised onion." He explained simply.
Zackary grunted. "Sounds good. Damn, I should've told you I wanted something."
"I ordered a share bowl, don't worry I was prepared." Liam replied.
Zackary nodded and poured himself a glass of alcohol. "Thanks. This is great so far."
"I'm glad, otherwise if it wasn't I'd be completely embarrassed." Liam replied, taking another drink.
Zackary chuckled gently. "So, how's your totally boring job going?"
Liam rolled his eyes but smiled, "Fine, actually. And it's not boring, it's probably better then being a bartender."
