Frankie looked at him, seeing the pain in his eyes. "It'll be alright. Everything's gonna be okay." She took his hand and held it gently, looking into his eyes. If he ever needed her it was now.

Zander laughed, and slowly pulled her out from the pillow, then proceeded to hum Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer.

"Stop it Zander!!!" Dani shoved the pillow into his face.

Zander kept laughing but promised nonetheless to stop after being struck by the pillow. Mental note #2 start slowly removing pillows from rooms Dani enters.

Zander's thoughts swirled as a thought popped into his head,"You guys went to the mall earlier right? How about we go?"

Dani smiled. "M'kay." She stood up, unsure of what they'd do, but glad to get out.

"Alright, truth be told though, I have never actually been to the mall so you might end up guiding me around." He said, with a smile.

Dani laughed. "Okay, let's go." She grabbed a jean jacket that was lying on the back of a chair, leading him out of the flat.

"Will it be though?" Blake bit his lip and focused his eyes on the floor. They were watering. "Everything just seems like it's falling apart." He whispered quietly.

Zander followed her out, and said."You also might have to guide me there. I don't know which way to go."

"Think you can keep up?" She asked, then took off running again, laughing.

Frankie squeezed his hand. "When things start to fall apart, friends have to stick together."

"I can't believe it." He stared at Frankie, his lips tugging upwards a little.

"What?" Then he saw her turn and run."Not this again."he said laughing, and chased after her.

Dani and Zander finally arrived at the mall. Dani took a deep breath. "Okay. We're here. What do you want to do??"

"I can't believe it." He stared at Frankie, his lips tugging upwards a little.

Frankie had no idea what to do. "I- When my dad died. My world seemed to be crashing down. But what it did was give me a new chance. My mom and I grew closer than we ever had been before. Although I moved around a lot I learned about how much friends can mean to someone. I learned what it's like to be hurt and come back better than ever."

"Uh, well if movies told me anything it's that if you arrive with nothing to do, the mall shall provide a distraction." Zander said, looking around,"On that note what do you usually do when you come here."

Dani laughed. "Well………you can shop, eat, go to the movies, there's and arcade……..basically there is everything here."

"You'll have to teach me then. Either that or I'll get really drunk. That always helps." Blake attempted to joke. His smile didn't quite reach his eyes. I promised I'd stay away from that stuff for her. "I guess… I uh-I didn't really have anyone. I mean like, anyone safe, you know?"

"Ohh, well then let's…" Zander thought hard about what to do, nearly confusing himself," shopping." He said finally.

Dani smiled. "Are you sure??"

"Yes." Zander said, suddenly unsure."Let's"

"Okay. But………………………" Dani rubbed her temples. "What do you want to shop for??"

"Blake…" Frankie was nervous for him. Drunk people were dangerous. Drinking was dangerous.
