(The friends have just gotten onto the ship from the picture frame and are trying to find a way to get home by asking the captain and first mate. So far, nothing has been accomplished.)
"You're clearly not from our land, that I can confirm, and you got through to this realm with a picture frame. I'm guessing the only way to send you back through is with magic, but I don't believe in such things. Do you know some magic spell that will whoosh you back into your world?"
"If I did know, I'd use it, handsome." Romana said.
"Then what was that sorcery that one of you used to shut us up earlier. I was downstairs but I could still feel the effects of it."
"Well sorry, Because i have no idea what i did." He stares the captain straight (gay) in the eyes
"And if i did i would be out of here."
"Well then, let's go find a sorcerer or a fortune teller of some sort. There are lots on this one island near the Causatona Bay which is a two day's journey from here." He suggested.
Avery looks over to Ramona "Yeah, she's not going to make it." he said. "Do you have any books about the history of this world on board?" he asks.
"This is going to be the most boring two days of my life." Romana grumbled.
"Sush." He says, glaring at her for a bit.
"We have maps." Adrian simply put. He didn't care much for the history because those people were already dead and he didn't need to know how people discovered land when he was already there.
"Good enough. When did you last get your ship repaired? it looks like you duct-taped it at the seams."
"I don't know, a few months ago. This is only a starter ship for me, to see how well I can take care of it. Soon I will have a larger one that looks much better."
"Hm strange" he mutters
"Can i borrow a towel?" he asks, just realizing how wet he is.
"Yes, they are right on top of a crate near the poop deck." He said while pointing. "Do not worry, they are clean too."
As she was looking out towards the horizon, the fog on the seas began to lift, seemingly only for her, and suddenly she could see thousands of miles beyond the human eye. Islands, and continents, and sandbars and cliffs and reefs and…
"LOOK OUT!" She shouted as a giant rock protruded up from the sea right in front of them. Her concentration snapped, and the mist covered the obstacle once more.
(naw he's not supposed to cuz the mist covered it again remember)
no, he saw it when she pushed the mist away../
(no…but that was only for her cuz it was for her power…)
"Where?!" Adrian yelled while looking over the forecastle deck. "I don't see anything."
Avery looks ovr the rails too. "I do not see anything."
"Neither did I, until a few moments ago. Turn sharp!" Elise is coming close to a panic at both 1) what she'd just accomplished and 2) Their impending doom.
(I don't know how to jump into this, so I might have to drop out.)
Valeria climbed onto deck, hair tied back and ink staining her hands. “Captain?” She called wearily. “What’s going on?”
"TURN SHARP!" Elise pointed to the impending mist.
//^jeapordy music while we wait for the captain to turn sharp^
Adrian quickly took hold of the helm an turned a sharp right. "What was that all about?"
"I apologize for any confusion, but for a moment as I was looking out to sea by the railing, the mist cleared and I saw a gigantaur rock." Elise regained her grace.
Adrian mentally added that to his list of how these people were different. "Well, luckily for you, we have extra rooms so get yourselves situated, except for you." He said while pointing to Elise.
