"Finally!" Oliver pushed dramatically on a pull door and slammed right into it. "Ow! Seriously?!" He complained, rubbing his nose and glaring reproachfully at the glass door that had a sign on it reading PULL.

(Wait, where is he?)
(In front of the McDonald's and trying to get inside.)
Dove spotted a weird man trying to get through the door. She ran over, "Hey man, do you need some help?"
"Dove?" Oliver pushed the hair out of his face, an embarrassed blush coveriyhis cheeks. "I uh… I was just…" He tried to think up and excuse, but was failing miserably.
"Oliver?" Dove clasped her hands behind her back. "Hello."
"You don't happen to have a hair tie, do you? I can't see anything." He asked shyly.
"No. I don't." Dove smiled, "I didn't think I would run into you at a McDonalds."
"I'm starving a-and I just saw a baby get born! I don't know how Caroline does it. That was gross and weird." Oliver shuddered.
"Thats…nice?" Dove winced, "A baby? Wow." she opened the door for Oliver, "You should go eat now."
"Wanna stay with me? Maybe help me convince the cashier I'm not a murderer?" He smiled cheekily at her.
"I'll try. No promises." Dove went through the door and opened her purse, taking out a credit card.
Oliver yawned and followed at her her heels, taking out a crumpled up ten dollar bill.
She stopped at the register, "What do you want? I'll order and you can wash the blood off in the restrooms."
"Just a cheeseburger and chocolate milk. Like a kids meal." Oliver handed her hid money.
"It's okay, I'll pay." Dove started ordering, telling the lady that she needed one cheeseburger, a chocolate milk, and french fries."
Oliver scrubbed the blood off his hands in the bathroom, receiving a few strange looks. He wasn't sure how he'd ever repay Dove for all he'd put her though today. He came back out, feeling slightly better than before and walked back over to Dove. "You're sure you want to pay? I have plenty of money, it's not a big deal." He tried to persuade her.
"I already paid." Dove grabbed the tray full of food and led Oliver over to a table. "Now eat."
"You're the best." Oliver pushed some of his hair behind his ears and starting eating without protest. Food had never tasted so good. He practically chugged his chocolate milk and devoured the cheeseburger before mercilessly attacking the fries.
Dove smiled, "Those were my fries." she reached over and pulled one out of his hand before eating it.
"I'll buy you more. I promise. Anytime you ant I'll buy you a lunch." Oliver showed off a goofy looking smile and pushed his hair out of his face for what seemed like the billionth time in the past hour.
"Anytime I ask?" Dove laughed and grabbed another fry, "How about tomorrow, at 5 PM, somewhere a bit better than this?"
"Sure! Where were you thinking?" Oliver munched on a fry, blissfully oblivious.
Dove shrugged, "Maybe we could just have a picnic?"
(I have to go for a few hours @Nerd)
"Sounds like fun! I'll meet you in your office after my shift and we can go from there? I'll wash up and change first, don't worry." He smiled brightly.
"Sounds great." Dove smiled and ran a hand through her hair, anxious and nervous on the inside.
(It's okay, I have to go in 2 hours for a few hours as well)
(McDonald’s. Wow.)
"What are you writing?" Caroline asked curiously, ignoring the dirty look sent her way.
Briar looked up from her work, a light blush dusting her cheeks.
“I’m coming up with names for the baby..”
Caroline nodded with a soft smile. "Can I look?"
