(Black is a very dark shade of gray I suppose, so it would be if the person goes completely mad without being able to see. DUSK YOU'RE A GENIUS! That can be the plot!!!!)

(People see colors with their emotions. If they cannot, then they only see greys. If they get to the point of being 18, and cannot See, then they begin to see blacks rather than just dark greys and begin to go mad.)
