"See anything?"
(Either one works)
"See anything?"
(Hmmmmm I'mma go inside)
"Uh, no." He looked around. Everything seemed normal. It was honestly too dark to tell.
(And what hand or foot will get bit?)
Aim narrows her eyes she steps backward far enough so that her arm was touching his.
(left arm. He's left handed.)
A shiver runs up his spine at her touch. Idiot idiot idiot. His head swivels as the sound of a snap.
(Ouch.)
Aim jumps, grabbing his arm as she accidentally trips on something
He pulls her up. That's when he saw it: a face looming in the little light entering the shack. Everything happened too quickly. He saw it launch itself. He quickly pushed Aim out of the way and out of the shack before reaching for his gun and shooting it.
Just not in time.
A pain rushes up his arm as the zombie fell to the ground.
Aim crashes on her back and topples down a small hill just outside the shack. She whacks the back of her head on a stone and blood spurts from the spot. She crumples in a heap at the bottom
For a moment he just stands there in shock. He looks over to Aim to see if she saw. He saw the whip of her hair as she rolled down the hill. He quickly runs to her, forgetting about the bite. "Aim!" There's blood beneath her head. "Aim, Aim, Aim." He tilts her head to his. "Hey, can you hear me?" She needs to get out of here.
Aim opens her eyes and they where dilated and wide. She looks around then feels her head, "Ow…" She gasps slightly when she sees the reflecting light from the blood of the bite. She shrieks and sits up but falls back, holding her head.
"Aim, listen, you need to get out." Every inch of him aches to get her to safety. "You need to run. Can you run?" He really hopes she can.
"Hold still! Stop talking!" She takes out her hair-tie and forces it up over the bite wound (Which is where?).
(I'mma say mid forearm)
He quickly pulls away. Her head is still bleeding which really worries him. "Stop! What are you doing? You need to run!"
"You're bitten! Stop!" She cuts off the blood flow from his arm
"Aim!" He grabs her by the shoulders and looks her in the eyes. His voice softens. "You need to get out of here. Before anything happens."
"Nothing will happen! Im not leaving! If you turn I die. I dont care! Now just hold still!" She yanks his arm back around
He winces as she tries to care for the bite. "There's nothing you can do." Why does she care so much?
"Yes there is… But… You wouldnt like it. I blocked the blood flow from your arm to the rest of your body so it wont spread but…"
He knew what she mean. "My arm…" He wanted her to be safe. He backed up a little bit. "Why do you even care? Why don't you just leave me here to die? Or, I guess, to not die?"
She pause, her hands where shaking slightly on his arm, "1. You're the only human I've met that didnt try and kill me on sight. 2. Because Im not selfish." That last one was a lie and she knew it but didnt say anything
"Wait, you've seen other humans?" And they've tried to kill you? "I'm not saying to be selfish I'm saying I tried to save you and you need to let me do that."
"You already have!" She looks around for and ax or something sharp. She couldn't prevent the tears now
He walked into the shack and came back out with and axe. It wasn't very clean, but they couldn't do much. His voice is soft as he handed it to her. "You need a fire."
"Do you have gunpowder?" Her voice cracked and broke as she takes the ax.
(To cauterize the wound)
"I don't know." He handed her his gun. A spring of pain ran up his arm making him wince.
"Hurry. Sit down!" She unloads the bullets, emptying each on out into a pile. She grabs his arm and forces him down on the ground. She then takes up the ax, "Im sorry!" She swings it over her head after touching it just above the tie where the healthy part of the arm was.
Pain. That's all he felt. Running up through his arm and everywhere else. He looks to her in desperation. "Just do it."
"Sorry." The ax swings down and cuts straight through at the top of the tie. The thunk sent a shudder through her body so violent she collapsed and hurled int the grass.
Everything blurs. One moment he's looking just past the axe above him to the stars and the next, he's screaming as if every part of him was being set on fire. After a few moments of endurance, he passes out, hoping for a painless sleep.
Aim quickly gathers herself and sparked a fire on the gunpower pile. She dragged Axl's arm over to it and started to quickly cauterize most of it. After that she wraps it in her jacket and ties it. She then leans over to his head, feeling his pulse.
