The Flute is in concert pitch, which means its in C, The trumpet is a Bb instrument, I think the Clarinet is also a Bb instrument the flute is not. This is why when you play middle C on the flute it's Middle C on the Piano. For a trumpet playing B flat is Middle C and they have to transpose a note and a half on everything written in C or in Concert pitch. I think that's how it works anyway But I could be wrong.

And I agree, the Flute does have both C and B flat variations but the standard Student flute like a Yamaha or a Jupiter or an Artly is a C instrument . B flat flutes are used primarily for marching and they usually have similar coloring to a Clarinet. I didn't mean to say that B flat flutes don't exist because they do I'm saying the standard student flute is C.
(Also side note I Play the flute too I'm not just pulling this Music theory from no where )

  • Close your eyes. Breathe in through your nose while counting to four slowly. Feel the air enter your lungs.
  • Hold your breath inside while counting slowly to four. Try not to clamp your mouth or nose shut. Simply avoid inhaling or exhaling for 4 seconds.
  • Begin to slowly exhale for 4 seconds.
    Repeat steps 1 to 3 at least three times. Ideally, repeat the three steps for 4 minutes, or until calm returns.
