Vin smiled in a rush of happiness. “Good. Should we go now, Temujin?” He looked up at her.
Vin smiled in a rush of happiness. “Good. Should we go now, Temujin?” He looked up at her.
"I think that may be best," Temujin answered. "Though you should let Sansushi say goodbye to her mother before you go."
Vin rose slowly. “Of course! Where is she?” He looked around, gently petting Sushi’s face.
"She's at the hot springs still," Temujin answered, smiling softly as she spoke
Vin nodded and gave a slight bow. “Thank you.” He turned and started to walk to the springs, holding Sushi.
Sushi purred and nuzzled Vin's cheek as they made their way to the springs
Vin smiled warmly down at the pup and before he knew it he was standing at the edge of the spring.
“Ah! Here we are.”
Sansushi leaned off Vin's shoulder to look down at the water. She gave a series of titters and coos, and the large spring dragon from before rose up from the water
Vin smiled warmly up at the massive spring dragon, gazing at its beauty. He tilted his head and held up little Sushi.
Sansushi cooed and tittered to the dragon. They seemed to be having a conversation, and Sushi's tail wagged at times and drooped at others
Vin wondered vaugely why he couldn’t understand the conversation. He had the choker on, after all. He shrugged it off and enjoyed Sushi’s body language.
Eventually Sushi's mother cooed gently and tapped Vin on the nose. "Take care of my Sansushi," she murmured
Vin nodded and gently rubbed Sushi’s mother’s nose. “I’ll bring her back. I’ll take good care of her, too.”
"Thank you," the older dragon said. She nuzzled Sushi one last time before sinking into the water again. The pup gave a coo and tucked her head beneath Vin's chin
Vin smiled and called to the dragon’s retreating form, “Thank you!”
He held little Sushi close again and trotted back to the moss dragon and Baal.
The moss dragon and Baal were chatting happily. Upon seeing Vin approaching they stopped to acknowledge him
Vin looked between the pair. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt.”
"It's fine," Baal said. The moss dragon looked curiously at Vin before turning its attention to Baal again
Vin opened his mouth to speak when he was interrupted by yaps. Vin looked down to find Sobex running out of the forest towards them, waving his tail wildly.
Sushi looked down at Sobex, her head tilted curiously. Temujin was running after Sobex, calling after him as she ran
Sobex yapped up at Vin a couple times happily, then scootched under Baal’s paws, then to the moss dragon’s, trying to form a regular pattern of intervals.
Temujin watched Sobex race around, looking a little lost. "Oh dear. Looks like he wants to go with you as well," she said with a small chuckle
Sobex rested under the moss dragon’s paws, panting. He caught his tiny breath and yapped loudly in agreement to Temujin’s statement.
Vin laughed gently. “He is pretty noisy. I’d take him, too, though.”
(hhhh Sobex is so cute)
Temujin rubbed at the back of her neck in a sort of perplexed manner. "Well, he doesn't have any family here. And I suppose it wouldn't hurt to let him go since he apparently won't leave you all alone."
(I knowowoowwww i love my smol pupppp)
Vin gave a rumbly laugh. “Now all we need is Lagi and I’ll be set.”
Temujin went to protest, but a red blur of a pup streaked by snapping and barking. The blur that was Lagi jumped over to Sobex and wagged his tail happily
Sobex yapped happily, thumping his tail on the forresty ground. He nuzzled Lagi affectionately, yipping softly, as if telling Lagi of his scheme to escape.
Lagi purred and snapped, obviously enjoying Sobex's scheme. Sushi peeped out from beneath Vin's chin, giving the other pups a worried look
Vin looked down at Sushi, rubbing her head with his thumb. “It’s alright, girl.”
Sobex thumped his tail on the ground a couple times, trying to get Lagi to agree by doing the same.
Lagi snapped and slapped his sharklike tail against the ground before rolling onto his back. He waved his little paws in the air, wiggling happily while the moss dragon looked down at them in a confused manner
