Blaine laughed as she walked over to the girls. Gathering them around herself do that they could hear her, she told them her plan.
"All right, girls. While you don't have brute strength in your side, you do have your brains," she said quiet enough that the boys couldn't hear her. "Strategize. Do whatever it takes to win. All you have to do is pull the center of the rope past a marker. You can do this, trust me."
The boys all huddled around the eldest and discussed their tactic in hushed whispers as Andion went and retrieved the rope. Once found, he walked back over and laid it out evenly.
"Here we go. Everyone take their positions." He said, standing back as the boys took their stands on one side of the rope.
"You got this," Blaine encouraged the girls as they walked to there side of the rope and got into position.
She made her way over to Andion and stood beside him, glancing up at him a bit. "Who do you think will win?" she asked quietly, smiling.
"I'm not sure. Let's find out." He gave her a wink before calling Start and the boys started pulling.
The girls started pulling at the call as well, and it seemed as if no one was winning for a while.
"I mean, the boys have strength on their side, but the girls are really smart," Blaine said as she watched the teams pulling. Some of the girls stuck their tongues out at the boys, and she couldn't help the chuckle that escaped.
Andion laughed slightly, "That's true, they look pretty even at the moment," He lent down to speak quietly into Blaine's ear, "Don't tell the boys but I'm hoping the girls win."
"Are you trying to get out of planning a date?" Blaine whispered with a laugh.
"No, no of course not. Like I said, already have a plan for a date no matter what happens here." Andion replied, grinning, "The boys just need their egos knocked down so if the girls win then that'll solve that problem."
"Good," Blaine laughed a bit. "Let's hope they win then, yeah?"
“Yeah, let’s hope.” Andion replied, standing up straight again.
By now it looked like the girls were gaining a lead on the boys, only by a fraction but it was a lead nonetheless.
Blaine took Andion's hand and leaned into his side as she watched the teams pulling on the rope. If the girls could get at least one of the boys to lose his footing, they would then have a good advantage.
A few of the younger boys seemed to be becoming tired and fighting harder to pull on the rope. Then, one lost his balance, then another and soon the flag passed the marker, claiming victory for the girls.
Andion squeezed Blaine’s hand and grinned, “Nice job ladies.”
"Good game, guys. I'm proud of you girls," Blaine called to them. "Who's ready for a water break?"
The crowed nodded their approval, all panting and headed to refreshments table, grabbing glasses of water eagerly.
Blaine grinned up at Andion.
"Guess I should start planning, huh? Though I already have some of an idea," she said, nudging him a bit. "And before you take that differently than I meant it, it doesn't have to do with either of us unclothed."
“Aw, why not both? I’m sure they’ll be some time.” Andion purred, standing behind Blaine and placing a kiss to her neck.
"Hm… I'll think about it," Blaine teased with a chuckle. "Careful of the kids, though. I'm sure they'll love to see a make out session."
Andion chuckled, “Yeah Yeah, I know.” He said, placing on last kiss to her cheek before heading over to get a drink himself.
Blaine shook her her with a smile as she joined the others. She picked up a glass and took a drink of it, watching the kids interact with each other.
Andion was brought into a conversation with the boys and they ended up play fighting somehow. The boys tackled him to the ground and he laughed, th boys laughing with him.
Blaine laughed and turned to the girls, congratulating them on their win. One of the girls was saying how she just planted her feet and refused to move anywhere but back.
Andion stood and checked the time, “Looks like our training session is over guys. Don’t worry, we’ll be back tomorrow.”
"Yeah, we'll see you all tomorrow," Blaine called to the kids. Turning to Andion, she asked, "Anything you had planned?"
Andion shook his head and put his hands in his pockets, “Nope, nothing that I know of.”
"Lunch? Lunch sounds good," Blaine suggested. "Why don't we go eat?"
“Where too? Here or go out into the city?” Andion asked.
Blaine shrugged. "Either is fine with me. I think going into the city could be fun, though."
"Then let's do that then." Andion replied, grinning and taking her hand in his, led them out the training room.
"What if we just walk around? Taste some things and look at the shops?" Blaine suggested.
"Sure, and if we spot anything we'd like to eat for a meal then that's a plus." Andion added.
