Sami briefly explained to Anna how she had brought her back.
"So that's it then?" She asked, patting Lucky's head. "Nothing bad, I'm now alive?"
"Well now you may have a faint magic trace following you around for a while, but that's pretty much it."
"And we can't find the others because….."
"Because if Kira see's you alive, she'll learn that I have magic, god forbid she learn I have fae blood, and I will either be hanged, or burned at the stake."
"All just for practicing magic."
"And that's if Michael hasn't already told Kira what I am, I can see him doing that."
"But what about Ariane?" Anna scratched Lucky behind the ears. "She'll stop at nothing until she finds Lucky, you know that."

While Michael and Kira are talking, Ariene sneaks out of the tavern. She couldn't relax until she had found Lucky. Nearby, she saw a river. She started heading that way first.

When she got to the river she saw Sami, Anna, and, "Lucky!" She exclaimed happily. She ran over to there and hugged him tightly. "I'm so glad you're here! I was so scared." She said, failing to hold back her tears.
