" Okay so we need a disguise." Victoria suggested

Marco jerked his thumb back towards Mariko, "her Jiji has got that covered." Marco turned to Mari, and remembered that she left.
(I forgot… Did she?)

Mariko looked at Marco, "It's not my Jiji it's just Jiji."

Marco held his hands up in surrender, "well, I'm sorry!" He snapped.

Mariko glared at Marco, "Stop yelling. It attracts attention." she patted her blonde hair and shot him another look.

Marco rolled his eyes. "Stop touching your hair. It's annoying me."

"Wow, I'm sorry. Because I definitely care about your opinion." Mariko said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. She touched her hair again, out of spite, and closed her eyes to let her system cool her down. System overheating, begin cooling process. Mariko sat down, criss-cross applesauce and read through the plan again.

"Woah, are you going to explode. You're getting really hot." Marco spat.

Phoebe turned back to Vex. “Look, I need you to cooperate. How many fingers am I holding up?”, she asked, holding three in front of his face.

Mariko turned to face Marco, certain that she would be crying if her eyes could produce tears, "If you don't like me this much I'll leave." so much for Phoebe's promise of friendship. Mariko crossed her arms and stared at the ground.

"Lemme guess, the scanner in your head is telling you that I don't like you. Well I'm just really ticked off at Vex right now. You can scan his body to find out why." Marco sighed, "in other words, I'm not mad at you."

Mariko just turned away and expelled the word 'friend' from her head. I need to stay focused. "It's okay, Marco. I..I just..I'm getting worked up about something too." Not just something. People who ruined my life. Mari forced a smile, "Thanks for apologizing."

"No problem." Marco turned back to Phoebe and Vex, "if he gets this right, it'll be a miracle."

Phoebe waited anxiously for Vex’s answer, suddenly feeling pain shoot through the organ just below her stomach as she shifted positions. She squeezed her eyes shut, ignoring it and hoping no one else had noticed. Jesus Christ, not now..

"You okay?" Marco asked Phoebe seeing her wince.

Phoebe swallowed, struggling to hold back a groan of pain as beads of sweat appeared on her forehead. “I’m fine.”, she managed to get out, clenching her fists and focusing on Vex. “Vex?”

Marco placed his hand on her shoulder, "babe, I know you're not good."

(Ooh, he called her babe!!)

Phoebe winced as another spurt of pain shot through her, somehow managing to feel a rush of adrenaline at what Marco had called her. She swallowed. “It’s fine— it’s both— ach!” It felt like someone was squeezing her internal organs. “I’m fine.”

(XD. That's one post…..)
Marco looks up a Vex, he was staring into space. "Phoebe, you're shaking. And you're burning up. Just let me help you, please," he begged.

Phoebe averted her eyes. “I— I get these pains a lot, there— it’s conplicated.”, she said lamely.

( *thumps * her foot on the floor. "I'm waiting!")
"I can't help if you don't explain." Marco sank to the ground taking Phoebe with him. "Does it hurt to move? Where does it hurt?"

Phoebe winced from a flicker of pain again. “In—“ Oh, Jesus. “On my uter—below my stomach.” She took a deep breath. “It’s a long story, and Vex is a more pressing problem.” She tried to turn away but Marco wouldn’t let her.
