Jorda tosses a pillow out over his funnel of coils.

"You can call me Alena kitten…"

Avery flies down and runs to the house, he throws the door open and yells "I left the cookies in the oven!"

Alena jumps at his voice.

A burning smell fills the kitchen as the smoke alarm starts to go off

Jordan jerks his head up at the sound of alarms. I scoots up to the opening of the cave and peered out cautiously.

Alena takes Ams in her arms, hugging her tightly.

"Im scared" she whispers
Avery runs to turn the stove off and pull out the cookies, who did not burn..

"I've got you…I'm gonna keep you safe ok…?"

"Huh?" Jordan makes a face

Kibe was about to say something, but Tao stopped her, "What's your favorite?" he retorted.

Kelton rolled his eyes and groaned. "Kibe, just tell me what your favorite is." He muttered.

Kibe shrugged, "I'm not eating here, so I don't care."

Tao smirked, "C'mon! Just choose!"

"Nope, not happening." Kelton rolled his eyes.

Tao shrugged, "Guess we aren't eating, then," he sighed.

"Please pick?" Kelton asked.

Tao shook his head and leaned back on the counter behind him. He didn't speak, waiting.

"Plleeasseee?" He asked.

"Nope," Tao shook his head firmly, "Choose or we don't eat."

"But what if you don't like it?" Kelton asked.

Tao shrugged, "I can deal with it. Just. Choose!"

"Okay then, pepperoni pizza?" Kelton said, making it sound more like a question.

"Is that your favorite?" Tao asked, raising one eyebrow.

"Yea." Kelton nodded.

"Ok, then we're having pepperoni pizza," Tao remarked.

"I was originally going to split the pizza but okay then." Kelton went back to the kitchen to make the pizza.

Alena holds Ams tightly.

"Hows you leg and shoulder?"

"A little better"
"THE COOKIES HAVE BEEN SALVAGED!" Avery yells as the smoke alarm stops beeping

Alena hugs Ams tightly. "Think you can climb?"
